Who's in charge of programming at NBC?

Heroes is taking a break until April 23rd. APRIL 23RD!!! That’s OVER a month and a half before I find out what happens. Whose brilliant idea was that!? Anyway, let me give you the rundown:

Niki/Jessica - Jessica was able to get out of Niki long enough to put a picture of Nathan Petrelli on DL’s pillow. DL didn’t figure it out though, so Niki was off to Vegas to kill him. Luckily, Jessica was once again able to get out with enough time to warn Peter that Linderman knows he’s spying for the Feds and subsequently wants him dead. This was not, however, before Niki killed the Feds.

Nathan - See above. Does NOT kill Linderman (played brilliantly by Malcolm McDowell), even though the opportunity certainly is there. Too much to lose, I think.

Claire - Manages to evade the Haitian at the NYC airport by stealing his passport and boarding pass before he can get through security. She then goes to the only place she feels safe - Peter Petrelli’s. When she gets there, Peter’s mother opens the door and Claire sees the Haitian. She then introduces herself to Claire as her grandmother and we begin to wonder what role she plays in this whole ordeal. If she knows the Haitian, she obviously knows way more than anyone ever anticipated.

Mohinder - FINALLY realizes who Sylar is and drugs him. It works for a while, but Sylar’s lack of observation skills allow Sylar to take control of the situation.

Hiro - With the help of Nathan Petrelli, he gets into Linderman’s museum to steal the sword. However, the curator catches him and calls security. Security comes in the form of Ando, who helps Hiro barricade the doors so he can steal the sword he so desperately needs.

What else? Oh yeah.. there’s a new character who’s a shape shifter, which is why we saw Simone alive in last week’s previews. She and HRG went to Isaac’s to clean up his mess and make sure the cops didn’t know what he did (Peter had called them after he left the apartment). All HRG tells Isaac is “to paint.” When HRG gets back, he begins talking to his wife about what happened (as she knows more than she lets on), but Eric Roberts puts one over on HRG because it’s our lovely shape shifting friend screwing him over. Peter heads over to Mohinder’s and finds Mohinder attached to the ceiling (not yet dead) and Sylar ready to work his magic. The episode ended with Sylar cutting into Peter’s skull and we see blood and hair fall to the floor. AND THAT IS HOW THE BASTARDS LEFT IT UNTIL APRIL 23RD.. Bitter? Me? Never. I guess now I’ll use Monday nights at 9 to catch up on my DVR’d shows. Damn you NBC. First, no Office and now this. You’re lucky I love you.
