I'm eating grapes at my desk... Does that make up for all the beer I drank yesterday during the football games?
Since Peyton's no longer involved, I guess I'll have to root for Eli.. I mean, wouldn't it be awesome for the Pats to go 18-0 and NOT win the Superbowl? And being from New York, it'd be kind of cool for them to win, even if it's with the wrong Manning ;). So.. Let's go Giants!!!

Nope...I cannot concur with you here. Surprisingly, I am finding I would actually be rather glum if the Pats botched the Super Bowl. 2007 marks my first tenative dabbling in pro-sports patronage and that's mostly due to what a sweet year the NE teams enjoyed. If the Pats lose, after such terrific momentum, the disappointment would nip my burgeoning fanship in the bud. I'm sure I would revert back to total apathy.
But, hey, it's not as if I have any $$ riding on the outcome. Is "fanship" even a word? I don't think it is...
