I ran my second 5K ever on Friday night in 38 minutes. The first one I ran in 37:38, but I ran the whole thing. This one had a few hills, which is something I don't do ever. So, I made it approximately 2 and a quarter miles before I walked for a bit. I was pretty happy that I finished it and hopefully I'll manage to run the whole way through my next one.

Saturday I went up to Vermont for our annual Scorpion Bowl weekend, which was fun. The weather was hot and I wish I'd had the chance to hang out more and see more people, but the weekend was way too busy to do so. I left the house around 9 am and got home around 12:30 am. It was a VERY long day and the last thing I wanted to do was get up early on Sunday, but there was a softball game so I didn't have a choice. I walked twice, got a hit and caught the entire game. Needless to say, I was sweaty and exhausted. However, I had a baby shower directly after so I basically had to body shower and try to salvage my hair in order to get there close to on time. Tre and I had big goals for Sunday, but they never materialized.. Instead we both passed out on the couch.. guess the weekend had finally caught up to us!!

My co-worker has just started selling Madison Handbags, so I'll be having a party in May. I'm excited cause I want one for myself and hopefully people will buy and/or have their own party so I don't have to pay full price!!!

The Food Network has announced a show called "Worst Cooks in America." I'm pretty sure I should be in the running to be on it.

Sadly, Bea Arthur died over the weekend and in other sad news, it seems Heidi and Spencer actually DID get married and are spending time in Cabo San Lucas.. what do you think the chances are they'll get swine flu? Cross your fingers....

Apparently the Albany Firebirds offered Michael Vick a contract.. unbeknownst to most of the Firebirds and their front office. Apparently it was a bad idea gone wild..

In a bit of a shocker, Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough got voted off DWTS this week. Melissa Rycroft was out with a rib injury and had the lowest scores, but it looks like the sympathy vote paid off, because she and the love of my life, Tony Dovolani live to dance another day. I admit, I didn't want Chuck and Julianne to go home, but I did give Melissa and Tony three sympathy votes out of my six online votes. The final five are Shawn Johnson, Lil Kim, Melissa Rycroft, Gilles Marini and Ty Murray. Who would have thought that!?

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are expecting twin girls via a surrogate, so maybe all that marriage ending talk will stop.. for a while.. I have a feeling those girls will give Suri Cruise a run for her money in the fashion department.

Is this week ever going to end!? It has really been the slowest week ever and I'm looking forwared to heading out for the Kentucky Derby on Saturday and maybe even winning a little cash with a well placed bet... but don't worry.. I'm not holding my hand on my ass waiting for THAT to happen. My betting skills usually revolve around which horse is wearing the prettiest color!

So to add to the Jason saga, I hadn't heard from him since last week's debacle, when he texted me on Saturday night (after 10:00 - beer muscles anyone?) and we had this exchange:

J - Hate me?
K - To use my phrase you used against me "I really don't like you right now"
J - Gotcha
K - What did you expect?
J - Was just wondering. Didn't expect anything
K - That's a good thing

He then texted me last night - "Like me yet?" A text which I didn't respond to. I then get a text today telling me that the place where he works is closing as of Friday, so guess who's out of a job. I've been there and done that (the whole unemployment thing) so obviously I have compassion, so of course I responded to the text, but sent another one making it abundantly clear that these were extenuating circumstances and that I did not yet like him or want to talk to him. I don't think he got the point though. I talked him off the ledge and also sent him some job postings. What can I say? I'm a giver.

That's all I've got for you guys. Perhaps if the O's were doing better, I'd have a bit more to say but alas, that is not the case right now! I was going to go to a game with my Dad on May 20th at Yankee Stadium, but I ended up having a ball game so I decided not to take the tickets. The train that goes straight to Yankee Stadium doesn't start running until the 23rd and if I'm going to Yankee Stadium, I'd much rather go that route and NOT sit in the bleachers. So, still no plans to catch a game this year...

Anyway, I'll try to be better with the posting but lately the last thing I want to do when I get home at night is turn on the computer. I'll try harder I promise! Hope you all got over the hump ok and made it through the warm weather we had this past weekend!!
