I was in Disney while the whole Lebron James move hit, but I was befuddled at what a big deal it was, and how childish the Cavs owner was about the whole thing. George Steinbrenner died of a heart attack on Tuesday at the age of 80. The All-Star game began with an appropriate moment of silence for the long-time owner of the Yanks. He's made one hell of a name for himself in baseball (good and bad) and his legacy with the Yanks will long be remembered. The Yanks also lost their long time public address announcer, Bob Sheppard, who died on Sunday at the age of 99.

The National League won the All-Star Game for the first time since 1996, with a 3-1 win over the AL, earning home field advantage in the World Series. And hey.. our boy Ty even got in the game.... which is more than we can say for A-Rod, huh? This is one of those "it's an honor just to be nominated" kind of things, right?
