You have to love those crazy Jersey housewives… Apparently shit’s hitting the fan next week, partially because of this little revelation! In other housewife news, the next series will be set in D.C. Housewives AND politics? It might just be too much to handle!

Tuesday night I hosted a Madison Handbag party, as my co-worker recently began selling them and I wanted to help her out (and get a cheap bag) by having a party. It went really well, as a lot of people came and shelled out for bags, even my sister, who has probably never owned a REAL purse in her life. I ended up getting a few bags and basically paying for one. You can’t knock that! My only problem was narrowing it down to which fabrics I wanted! I probably should have made Ashley take the fabrics away from me, which would have forced me to make up my mind, but instead she let me keep them. The one bag I ended up getting was nothing near what I had picked originally, and I can’t wait until they come in, as I’m sure neither can any of the girls at the party!

In a stunning turn of events, Archie (of Archie comics fame) has finally decided to make an honest woman of one of his paramours and either way, Team Betty or Team Veronica will NOT be happy… This is who he picked… Personally, I think she’s better off without him.. Speaking of comic books, here’s the latest unlikely (yet extremely fashionable) hero coming to a comic book store near you!

The O’s are really on a tear this week! First a three game sweep of the first place Blue Jays (thank you Nolan Reimold… I have GOT to order that jersey) and a win over Detroit last night brings us to a 4 game win streak. Not to mention all the hype over today’s arrival of prodigal son, Matt Wieters. I’m trying to downplay, but I REALLY hope he lives up to all the hype and that he doesn’t turn into a cautionary tale. Good luck to the O’s and their new backstop for the next 10 or so years!

Sandra said she’d camp outside for tickets to this movie, but I think I’ll only do it if he promises to have AT LEAST his shirt off for half of the film…

So here’s a story: I told you how I met a guy on Saturday night. Great dancer, seemed nice enough, but something was… off. I vaguely remember him saying something about church, as it seemed like he was trying to get me back to his apartment (we’ll get a slice of pizza, he said… RIGHT). Anyway, we talked on the phone briefly the other night and he texted me yesterday and asked how I was and if I wanted to meet up this weekend. First of all, don’t ask me out via text. Seriously. I have standards. Not many, but some. I told him it was a good idea, but that I’d really like to get to know more about him first. He simply said “ok,” which I thought was a little weird. So I basically told him that if he’s looking for a quick lay, I’m not his girl. I am WAY too old for that crap anymore and why should I waste my time hanging out with someone who’s not looking for the same thing as me. I did it for three years lol.. I may have FINALLY learned my lesson! Anyway, I did apologize to him if I offended and didn’t hear from him for a while, so I figured I pegged him right. When he finally does text me back he says something to the effect of: About me: I don’t normally go to bars. This week I have 7 functions that are church related. Almost all of my friends are Christian.

That sound? My jaw dropping. He also said something about being discipled and about gifts, but I’m not even getting into that. Anyway, again, I apologized profusely and he apologized back for coming off sleazy.. Note to bloggers – religious I’m not. I had my first communion, I’ve been confirmed, but that’s it. It’s not that I don’t believe in God, cause I do. I’m just not fanatical about it, as some people are. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be, it’s just not my thing. I reiterated to him that I’m not quite like him, and he didn’t seem to think that was a problem. Talk about jumping to conclusions, right? Anyway, I haven’t had a chance to really ask him some questions about it, but there are still some things about it that seem a little…. shady. My friend totally thinks it’s a scam, and if it is, what an elaborate ruse just to get into some random girl’s pants! I mean, he sounds knowledgeable (that’s what all those old ladies say after the young charmer steals their life savings, right?). Anyway, I know he had a drink at the bar, but other than that, I have nothing real solid to go on. I don’t think there’s a law that you have to abstain from all alcohol to be Christian, but I’m a little oblivious to the whole thing. Anyway, so far that’s the story. I seriously can’t make this shit up.

David Sedaris is doing a reading from his latest book “When You Are Engulfed in Flames,” and an autograph session at the Borders in Crossgates on Wednesday at 7 pm. I know no one who will go with me, but I’m not sure I care. I’ve read all his books and I think he’s great, so I might just take myself on a date that night!

I’m sure lots of people could see this coming YEARS ago, but Mayim Bialik (Blossom) will be on What Not to Wear for tonight’s season premiere. Apparently she’s still holding on to her peasant skirts and Doc Martens, but Clinton and Stacey try to set her straight.

And already, the Hills are alive with the sound of DRAMA!!! I might have to watch now, even after the loss of my girl LC (who apparently I exemplify, according to the latest Facebook quiz).

I'm hoping for a mellow weekend, albeit full of baby birthdays and baby showers! Enjoy your weekends and finally, best of luck to my sister and her softball team at Sectionals!! Kick ass!!!

I don't know if he's gay or straight and to be honest, I don't care... but after watching last night's So You Think You Can Dance auditions, I want to do dirty things to Tyce D'Orio.. He's hot AND hysterical AND he can dance... I adore him.. I think I'd even let him say some of the things he said to the contestants last night to me, as long as he said it with a smile.

The birthday boy and his favorite dance partner, during the pregame session

Me, Shan and a feather boa. How could the night be bad?
Somehow it's always Eddie with the ladies..
Somehow Jen, Nikki and I were still standing after a booze filled weekend!
What a weekend! Started off Friday night at Meadowgreens, where it turned into a much drunker evening than anticipated. It's usually the nights you don't intend to be crazy, that turn out that way. Let's just say that a snuggie ended up on the bathroom floor and no one knows how or why.
Saturday night we went to Savannah's to celebrate Danny's birthday... and celebrate we did! We danced our asses off to the 80's/90's dance party and I have to say, I don't think I've had that much fun in a really long time. I even met a guy who could dance that wasn't gay. Who knew that was possible?!
After a couple hours of sleep I got up on Sunday to do it all over again. I had a 40th birthday party, then my cousin's annual Memorial Day party. Again, I somehow lasted longer than everyone. I really don't know where my stamina came from this weekend, but I'm pretty sure my liver might never forgive me. I definitely need some rehab after this weekend.
I relaxed and cleaned today (I'm having a Madison handbag party tomorrow night, so the house needed to be in decent shape) but also managed to watch Glee, which I DVR'd the other night. I thought it was entertaining personally, although I didn't get to see the very end, although I'm sure I'll catch it in the Fall when it airs for real.
I'm beat, doing laundry and watching Criminal Minds so it's time for me to hit the hay soon. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend!! I know I did!

In what’s being considered an upset, Kris Allen defeated Adam Lambert for the American Idol title. I’ve liked Kris from the get-go and I personally think he’ll be a better Idol. This will leave Adam Lambert a little more creative control over his album and I’m sure he’ll be better off this way. I’m sure the Danny Gokey fans pushed Kris over the top with their support, as he and Lambert were basically polar opposites. If you haven’t already, I beg you to download Kris Allen’s version of Heartless by Kanye West. Let’s just say Kris picked a really great time to peak.

My Dad and I were supposed to go to Yankee Stadium for the O’s-Yanks game Wednesday night, but I decided not to as it was just going to be too much of a hassle: I had a softball game and we wouldn’t get home till pretty late. I’m so glad I made that decision, as I would have had to endure the heckling taunts of Yankee fans as there were back to back to back home runs hit in the O’s loss, which kept the Yanks winning streak intact and was the middle of their sweep. The O’s aren’t doing so hot, but at least there are individuals who are getting some recognition (thanks to Rob for sending me that article and putting the image of a butt-naked Nick Markakis on a bike… I owe you for that one!)

Memorial Day weekend is a good one for the movie-goers, and this site might come in handy.

I think I’ve mentioned the workers upstairs from my office a few times on the blog. Let’s just say they obviously don’t have much of a dress code. Proof of this is as follows: Wednesday I was on my way around the office and I caught one of their workers outside smoking… and wearing pin-striped spandex bike shorts. She had on a nice (night out) top and bike shorts. First of all, unless people are biking or doing an activity of some sort, I was unaware people wore bike shorts anymore! Maybe she biked to work that morning… but I doubt it. I mean, they WERE pin-striped, so does that make them dressy enough for work? You let me know…

Who doesn’t want to milk their 15 minutes (or years in this case) of fame, no matter how wrong it is!?

One of my new favorite housewives is expecting…. I guess if I had all that free time and a gorgeous house, I’d pop out four kids too. Ok no.. that’s so not true!

Speaking of Real Housewives, it’s been reported that the NYC ladies will sign on for another season at a cost of $30,000 each per episode. Not too shabby for a reality show!

And THIS is why I don’t wear skinny jeans. Well, that and the fact that I don’t have skinny legs so technically, they wouldn’t really BE skinny jeans, but that’s neither here nor there.

Now this is a situation I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. How you can have your highest high and your lowest low at the same time is just mind-numbing!

I’m thinking this is probably one of those “no pressure” situations (note the sarcasm).

Personally, I expected she would go younger with less baggage...

Who do you think would win in a Hill's douche fight?

Happy Memorial Day Weekend and Happy Birthday to my friend Danny!!! We are gonna rip up the dance floor at Savannah's (The Dublin Underground) tomorrow night. I hope to have pictures aplenty to illuminate the blog! Have a great holiday weekend!!!

PS - I managed to not collapse or need oxygen during yesterday's race. There were over 7,000 runners. It was absolutely insane and the craziest thing I've ever been a part of! It was 3.5 miles and I definitely ran the last 1.5 without stopping, but the second mile (which happened to be the flattest) was where I got my rest. I'm not thrilled with my time, but I wasn't really doing it for good time anyway (i'm a short girl with short legs.. speed is not my forte). The pomegranate margarita and nachos at El Mariachi afterwards sure helped to make up for the heat and physical exertion...

We should all know by now of my love for the new Applebee's down the street (at least you do if you're one of my facebook friends. I wax poetic about it at least twice a week, if not more), so imagine my surprise and chagrin when I read this article, as the Chicken Fajita Rollup is one of my faves. Granted, I don't eat the mexi-ranch sauce, but I have a feeling that's not going to make as much of a difference as I'd hoped. And I've had the garlic herb chicken. It's good... but child sized portioned. Damn the USA and your love of making everyone fat with your humongous portion sizes!!!

It's going to be 87 degrees tomorrow... and I'm running (Well... running for ME, which is basically a very fast walk for others, with longer legs). My track record of running in extreme heat isn't so good. I'm bringing extra clothes and can't wait for my after-race margarita. I might need a ride... I have a feeling dehydration and tequila aren't a good combination!

Yesterday at work someone told me "I like your top. It looks comfy." I wasn't quite sure how to take this. I mean, it was comfy, but was it comfy because it was big? Did I look slovenly? I'm just going to take it as a compliment to my taste and move on.

I don't know if anyone watches 90210, but apparently air-bitch slapping Naomi's sister doesn't translate through to the action on the TV screen. There's gonna be one hell of a nervous breakdown coming next season and I will totally be there to witness the train wreck. I normally loathe remakes (I mean, aren't there enough people with ideas out there?) but I adore the 90210. Not sure if I'm willing to give the new Melrose Place a chance though. That got a bit too out of control for my tastes way back in the day.

Real Housewives of NJ - Danielle is a seriously delusional whack job. That's my observation for the week. Discuss amongst yourselves.

In what could be classified as a bit of an upset, Shawn Johnson reigned supreme on DWTS and managed to up the pressure for the next Olympian that decides to compete. She and her partner, Mark Ballas beat Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke by less than 1% of the vote, with Melissa Rycroft and the love of my life, Tony Dovolani, coming in third. Shawn really peaked at the right time, at least in my opinion. She stopped doubting herself and had lots of fun, which is evident in her freestyle. I've rooted for her from the beginning and I'm glad she came out the victor.

I've been a day ahead of myself all week. Today I was confident it was Thursday. It is not. Therefore, hump away and allow me to live vicariously through you!!! Half the work week is officially over!

Once again, I left my post-it at work, so I'm going to have to wing it. You know damn well I won't remember everything, but I'll do my best.

My co-worker has informed me that I am now on a manhunt. It was nice of her to let me know! Jason and I had plans for Thursday night (apparently he was over the "history" debacle), and at 7 pm he texted me "would you hate me if I didn't make it tonight?" to which I replied "yes" as I'd basically gone pretty far out of my way to make the plans with him, and he knew there were other things I could have been doing... if I'd had more notice. Anyway, I then felt bad (maybe he was tired, blah blah blah) so I texted him back and said that it was fine, but I wanted concrete plans for Friday or Saturday - no more excuses. Still waiting on that call. He never even bothered to text me back, call, or stop by the house. Granted, I got to watch the Grey's finale uninterrupted, but it's the principle of the thing. That's just a lack of respect for me and my time, and I don't take too kindly to that! So, we're both cold shouldering each other, although I'm really the only one with good reason. I'll give him credit - he's lasted way longer than I expected! I'll keep you posted, but if he was your pony in this race, I wouldn't get my hopes up. He's basically pushing himself to the glue factory.

I'm pretty sure the new Applebee's is going to put back on all the weight I've taken off. I'm thinking of starting to run TO the Applebee's.. then maybe I won't feel as bad about eating there way too often. It's just too damn convenient and there's very cold beer there. What's a girl to do!?

Big buzz is the renewal and/or cancellation of TV shows going around. Amazingly enough, Dollhouse is getting a second chance. However, Reaper and My Name is Earl have been axed, although Reaper could have new life in syndication and My Name is Earl could go to another network, but I'm not getting my hopes up. On Fox, Fringe was renewed and will be shown on Thursday nights at 9, which is up against Grey's Anatomy and The Office. Tough time slot, and even tougher for me, as I can only tape two shows at once. I hope Hulu continues at the rate they're going or else I'm in DEEP trouble! The only nice thing is that I'll no longer not know what's going on thanks to American Idol running over! So You Think You Can Dance begins this week, but Fox is going to run it into the ground by starting another season up in the Fall. I know I won't, but I hope the rest of the audience doesn't grow tired of it!

Tonight is the Dancing with the Stars finale and I have to say, I really don't care who wins. Usually there's someone I just loathe, but I'd be ok with any of the finalists winning, although I think Tony Dovolani would look mighty sexy posing near a mirrorball trophy! The finalists are neck and neck and it really is too close to call!

Oh no, poor Jessica Biel. It must really suck to be so pretty. I hope she's not holding her hand on her ass waiting for all that sympathy to come around..

And from the looks of it, the boys continue to drop like flies on Daisy of Love. The show might be done quicker than we thought if she keeps making crappy decisions and the boys keep deciding they like their exes (or being homeless) better than her!

Apparently the best way to get over your well-known ex, is to attempt to get under a new, well-known hottie...

I guess now we know what's kept Mariska Hargitay off the SVU set lately...

I know I have more, but I can't think of it right now. I'll consult my post-it tomorrow and perhaps concoct a post. I've got a ball game tomorrow night and I'm running a 3.5 mile race on Thursday night so it might be a while before I can post, but if something important comes up, I'm on it! Don't miss The Real Housewives of New Jersey and try to catch the sneak peek of the first episode of Glee (on Fox). I'm taping it and watching 90210. What can I say? I have till September to check it out since Fox isn't running any more episodes until then. However, I think it'll be entertaining and I'm looking forward to it. As for the Jersey housewives, well, I'm real excited about them. I know it won't happen till the end, but I can not WAIT for Teresa's table tossing confrontation. For now, I'll just settle for the "bubbies" and the mob ties.

My Proposal

Married men should either have to go out to bars with their wives, wear wedding rings, or have a big sign on their back proclaiming them married. It's really unfair to let a single girl like myself waste good game on someone who, while flattered and flirting back, has absolutely no intention of dating you. Be kind, married men. I know you all are stupid, but I'm pretty sure you can figure out what flirting is... in a bar.. on a Friday night.. out with the guys... not wearing a wedding ring...

Just saying... ;)

GO SEE ANGELS AND DEMONS!! It was the quickest 2 hours and 20 minutes I've ever spent in a theater. It's a great story (and one you can grasp even if you haven't read the book) and personally, I think the movie was better than The Da Vinci Code.. and Tom Hanks doesn't have that awful long hair, which is certainly a help! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

What a way to wake up... Huey Lewis (circa 1986) on the front page of Yahoo!!!

So.. does anyone remember my fascination with Man and Dog? The man that was always walking his dog while I drove to work? Well, a while back I didn't see him and I didn't see the dog, so I assumed (and probably correctly) that dog had died. Well, this morning, he was walking a NEW dog!!! Brought a smile to my face..

Which is exactly what I needed after the Grey's Anatomy season finale!!!! No spoilers, but I was partially right, and the twist thrown in was a doozy that I don't know if anyone was expecting. I certainly wasn't!! The fate of Izzie doesn't look so good though... but of course.. hello cliffhanger.. we won't knwo till next season. As if I hadn't already bawled my brains out, then when I went upstairs to go to bed, the remaining hour of Love Actually was on Lifetime, which had some of my favorite parts so again, I cried. It didn't help that my plans once again fell through for last night, plans I'd kind of been looking forward to. It was just a weepy night! I mean, I know I'm a sap and all, but geez.. a girl can only take so much!!!

TGIF my friends!!

Thursday, May 14, 2009

I was finally able to watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey and I’m already in love. I want to be Dina when I grow up, and I want to do dirty things to Albie. Come on boys and girls, he’s a bona fide hottie AND he’s in law school, not trying to persuade his mom to back a “classy” strip club/car wash like his younger brother. I already loathe Danielle because she thinks she’s hotter than she is and she’s kind of scary looking. Ok, not kind of.. REALLY scary looking. And seriously, who goes on a date with a guy you had phone sex with? Gucci Model? And you really thought he was going to LOOK like a Gucci model? Hi – delusion and desperation – reservation for one.

The family dynamic is pretty interesting and I can see how it’s going to get ugly, cause that looks like one hell of a family to try to get into the inner circle on. I mean, already there’s drama with Dina and Danielle and I’m pretty sure that Dina and her “bubbies” are gonna win that war. She’s meaner, prettier and has more money. What more do you need? Yes, I’m already on the Dina bandwagon after the first episode. Hopefully she doesn’t steer me wrong!

I also watched the end of the NY Housewives reunion. Well, the first part. Speaking of delusional, maybe Danielle has room at her table for Ramona and Kellie, cause they are both bat shit crazy. I can’t wait for the second hour of the reunion when Luann refers to her and her “crazy eyes.” It’s comedy gold!

I’m happy to say that Danny Gokey did NOT make it into the Idol finals, as Kris Allen and Adam Lambert advanced with only a million votes separating the two. I know that sounds like a lot, but it really isn’t. I liked Danny in the beginning, but I think the show really played the whole “widow” thing and he really hasn’t done so hot in the last few weeks, where Kris has really taken some risks and stepped it up. Wouldn’t it be the biggest upset ever if Kris beat Adam? I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but hey… sometimes it’s not so bad to be second place in the Idol world. I mean, come on.. Taylor who!?

Speaking of second place, my girl Allison somehow did NOT win America’s Next Top Model. The title went to Teyona, who had a meltdown during her commercial, but redeemed herself with a beautiful picture that I’m sure you’ll see everywhere starting today. No matter, I don’t think Allison needs the title to make a name for herself. Granted, she needs to work on her walk, but I have no doubt that she’ll have work for quite some time with her “interesting” features. Best of luck to both!

I know I don’t talk about it much, but I still watch “Make Me a Supermodel” (wow.. I really almost called it “who wants to be a supermodel.” I watch too much TV) on Bravo cause.. well.. I love Bravo and I like looking at Tyson Beckford. I mean, who wouldn’t? Anyway, annoyingly bitchtastic Jordan finally got her walking papers, mainly cause she started off good, then has steadily just become average, ending with her not being able to master Heely’s on the runway. I could care less, as long as Jonathan didn’t go home. I mean, how is he not a completely successful model yet, with that face and those abs? Explain it to me!!!

Tonight is the Grey’s Anatomy two hour finale, and I’m hoping I can stay up long enough to see it, although I’ll tape it and try not to read everything about it on the internet tomorrow if I don’t manage to watch. Oh, who am I kidding? If I don’t watch I’ll be online at 8:30 on the nose checking to see if Izzie dies. Personally, I don’t think she will, and I think George will follow in the strangely hot Owen Hunt’s footsteps and train to be an Army medic. They’re playing up his and Hunt’s relationship so much and he wants to leave the show so badly, that while it makes no sense, it kind of does.

While I did put a dent in the DVR last night, it’s still hovering around 60%. That’s A LOT of shows..

I almost forgot.. I managed to watch the train wreck we so lovingly refer to as Charm School, with new dean, Ricki Lake. (I guess after you try to beat the shit out of a contestant on the reunion show, you are no longer considered an “appropriate” Charm School Dean) Good god does Ricki have her hands full! Those girls are hot tranny messes, every last one of them! Beverley got wasted on the first night and tried to rip out Brittany Star’s hair (Brittany, the ex-porn star who liked to steal sweat socks and food while on the ROL Bus). Crazy bitch deserved it though. Hey.. she TOLD Beverley to do it!! You should know that if you tell a drunk bitch to pull your hair, she’s PROBABLY going to pull your hair! Then again, this is the same girl who told Ricki Lake that she started directing porn to empower women. Um.. WHAT?! Perhaps she can snag a seat at the Real Housewives of Fantasy Land table with Danielle, Kellie and Ramona. Anyway, Rock of Love Bus was 2 for 2 as Gia got eliminated that night as well, mainly because she was way too drunk to know what was going on, before she threw a drunken hissy fit outside the mansion. I hope it was after Charm School that she went on to rehab, as she announced on the ROL Bus reunion show. The Real Chance of Love girls haven’t made too much of an impression yet, but my friend Tara ASSURES me they will have their day in the sun!

Sorry for all the TV talk, but it’s KIND of consumed my life lately and will continue to do so until I can remedy the DVR situation!

Tidbits:

Heidi Montag-Pratt, whatever, and her fake boobs are going to be in Playboy. Oh how things went downhill when Holly Madison left!!!

Speaking of The Hills, LC’s old foe, Kristin Cavallari is taking her place as the center of attention. I’ll still watch, but I’ve always really liked Lauren, cause she seems somewhat normal. Kristin seems like.. well.. a media whore. She’s Heidi, light. I wonder who she’ll start with in banging her way through The Hills..

Tonight is the 100th episode of The Office and it looks to be a fun episode, what with everyone convening at the company picnic, even perhaps Holly, Michael’s lost love.

TGIF my friends.. I seriously could NOT be happier that the work week is almost over!!

Wednesday, May 13, 2009

And... guess who's NOT going to the movies tonight? Yep... me :( Sometimes people are too predictable for their own good! I guess this will give me my chance to catch up on my Real Housewives viewing before I hunker down for ANTM, so maybe it's not SO bad... but microwave popcorn just doesn't compare!!!
On my way to work today I was behind a guy who had a license plate that says KHAAAN (That might be too many A’s, but you get the point). With the success of the new Star Trek movie, I’m thinking he might have the coolest car in the parking lot at the Regal Cinemas.

Was I the only one that got a little teary eyed this morning watching the Ryan O’Neal interview on the Today show!?

Last night we had another softball game, where I was catching. Now, I’ve played ball since I was 5. I’m MORE than capable of catching a ball when it’s thrown to me, and to go after it when it’s not. Well, there was a play at the plate and as I’m waiting for the ball to be thrown, our pitcher literally pushed me out of the way. I walked to the bench cause there was no point in me backing him up since he was so confident in his abilities, right? I KIND OF wish he hadn’t gotten the guy out (just to prove a point) but he did, and he instantly could tell I was fuming. He came up to me and started to apologize but I cut him off and said “Don’t you ever fucking do that again” and then I reiterated the fact that I know I’m a girl and all, but all our girls are more than capable and if he ever does it again, he better figure out how to pitch AND catch, cause I won’t be behind the plate. I could hear him saying things, but I think he knew I had a point. I mean, if he had said “well, the guy that was coming in was a douche (and he is) and I was afraid he’d try to hurt you” that’s one thing. But he didn’t.. he’s just a ball hog. It was amazing how many people came up to me after that and told me they were glad that I said something to him instead of just letting him get away with it. Have you met me? That was NOT going to happen, and I’m pretty sure it’ll never happen again.

Ty Murray finally got the boot from DWTS, and from the little bit I saw Monday night, he was the most deserving, as I thought he was the week before. He was by far, the most improved, but the three that are in the finals, completely deserve it!

If you haven’t heard it, search for Kris Allen’s take on Heartless by Kanye West that he performed on Idol last night. It was a show-stopper for sure and he could be the underdog that ousts Danny Gokey to make it into the finals! I always liked him and think Danny is overrated, so it wouldn’t bother me!

Apparently, Paulina Porizkova was fired from America’s Next Top Model for having an ego that she wasn’t aware she had. Honey.. when you work with Tyra any ounce of self confidence is too much! The winner of ANTM’s most recent cycle will be crowned tonight. I admit it, I’m rooting for Allison!

I admit I haven’t watched more than the first episode online, but Party Down has been renewed for a second season, which means it’s just ONE more show I need to catch up on. Thank god for the internet!!

When the DVD of the first season of Dollhouse comes out, there will be 2 unaired episodes included. If they’re from the end of the season, I might buy it. The beginning of the season.. not so much!

Today, out of curiousity, I googled one of our foreign agents. We all really like working with him and we were curious. Well, he’s a bona fide hottie. I might have to keep screwing up his stuff so he has to email me more often!

Seriously.. who thought Shanna Moakler was a role model in the first place?

I only made it through half the Real Housewives reunion last night and none of the Jersey Housewives, but it was basically bitch bitch bitch, cry cry cry, as expected. Practically everyone has had surgery or been in the news for one reason or another and that is why we love them. Doesn’t mean I’m not gonna watch the whole thing every time it’s on though! I’m just happy I don’t have to hear “let me tell you a-something about my family. We are thick as thieves” again. If I were that woman, I’d be mortified THAT is the sound bite they chose to use to introduce the season!

It’s late afternoon and my movie date has yet to cancel on me. It could be a miracle.. or I could have totally jinxed myself just now. She still has a little over two hours to bail.

In a strange turn of events, Jason might actually be speaking to me and has (hopefully) forgotten about Sunday night.. or at least he’s pretending to, which is fine with me. I’m sick of beating the dead horse and pretending to apologize for something I really don’t feel bad about! And as my C. Howe says “you never ask someone about their past sexcapades” (it went something like that, right Chris?). No one ever likes the answer… Unless they know their new girlfriend used to be a nun and this was their first day out of the convent. I think then it’d be ok to ask!

Time is winding down and I’ve got some stuff to do. Hump ‘em if you got ‘em and if you don’t have 'em… fake it!

This is an actual email I sent to my co-worker, just a few short minutes ago:

I'm going to slit my wrists with my dull scissors.. you'll probably have to take me to the hospital then we can both get the F out of here.. Course.. I probably won't be back till next week, what with the 5150 mental health hold they'll put on me.. but it might be worth it

Oh, the things you can learn from Britney and her mental breakdown!!!

Seriously.. it’s been the SLOWEST week already, and it’s only Tuesday.

TO make things interesting, once again Jason is kinda not speaking to me. We had a great weekend.. talking a lot, things were going really well. Sunday night I watched him bowl and as we were on our way home, someone’s name came up that I have “history” with (now.. I’m sure my minions can realize what I mean when I say history, but he wasn’t getting it) so he asked the dreaded question and I answered it honestly, thinking, “it was a long time ago and he and I weren’t together at the time so what’s the big deal?” Apparently, it WAS a big deal, since this guy will be on a boy’s trip with him in approximately three weeks. Call me crazy, but I thought honesty was the best policy as opposed to hearing about it from a drunk guy and being blindsided with the information. Anyway, he had his hand on my leg as we spoke, and quickly recoiled as if I’d just been struck down with leprosy. Oh yeah, it wasn’t pretty. Actually said “get out of my car” when he got to my house. I understand there’s an initial shock, but I hate to break it to you, neither one of us were virgins when we got together and we’re not now! I understand it’s going to be awkward for him to go on this trip and see this guy, but it would have been worse if it had come up and he didn’t have a clue. The more I think about it, the more I’m angry that he’s angry, so this morning I left him an angry voice mail which he promptly returned, amazingly enough! We talked a little bit and I tried to explain that I wasn’t telling him to make him jealous but he asked and I didn’t want to lie to him. I think he just had some issues with having that picture in his head and needs time to get over it. Hopefully he will. We didn’t get a whole lot resolved this morning, but at least I know there’s a possibility he’ll answer the phone when I call! I did tell him that he couldn’t just not talk to me for three days every time I do something he doesn’t like, especially since (technically) we’re not together.

If I could just have one un-drama filled relationship… I’d probably get bored ;)

The weekend was pretty good. We took our pregnant friend Kate out to dinner Saturday night (we missed her shower) to the Brew Pub in Troy (Brown’s Brewing Co.) Had a GREAT dinner there! We then hit up Quigley’s in East Greenbush, since no one wanted to serve four hot chicks with twenty dollar bills in their hands at My Place. Seriously.. it was unreal! Anyway, we ended the night at Meadowgreens where I was surprisingly "on" in beer pong. Sunday morning we took mom (and dad) to brunch at The Standard, which was really quite good. Spent some time in the mall and then put on jammies to lounge on the couch and try to catch up on TV. I got through two episodes of NCIS and two episodes of 90210, but that was it. I am seriously considering not leaving the house this coming weekend until I clean that baby out! Thank god my shows are ending, although some have just begun (THANK YOU VH1).

I caught up on Daisy of Love and that poor girl is sure having some trouble getting these guys into her, although you wouldn’t be able to tell from the massive make-out sessions that seem to be happening at ever turn. The second installment of Charm School started last night with lots of my Rock of Love Girls, but I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet. To quote my friend Tara “What a freaking train wreck.” YAY!!! I can’t wait..

I did manage to catch most of DWTS and it looks like Gilles has secured himself a spot in the finals, and hopefully so have Melissa and Shawn. I love Ty to pieces and he’s doing a great job, but he should have gone home last week and then it really would have been interesting to see who’d make it in to the final 3!!

Someone found a copy of the script for the Twilight Sequel “New Moon” in the trash and actually returned it, which makes her a better person than I’ll ever be!

I don’t know if anyone is even watching Dollhouse anymore, but you should have stuck around for the last two episodes. I actually gasped out loud when the identity of Alpha was revealed. I’m doubtful that it will get a second season, but if it was going to be anything like the last few episodes, I wish Fox would at least give it a shot!

If you want to find out where exactly they “paved paradise and put up a parking lot,” check out this site. It’s still in the beginning stages, but pretty interesting!

Ball game tonight (third Tuesday in a row!) and I’m supposed to go to the movies to see Sunshine Cleaning with my friend Lynn tomorrow night. She’s notorious for canceling, so I’ll believe it when she picks me up and not until then!

Enjoy your day and continue to try to live without me and my drama filled life. You can make up for it by checking out the Real Housewives of NYC reunion at 10 tonight (PS – the Bethanny-Jill conflict wasn’t quite as crazy as the previews for the finale made it out to be) and then continue tuning in to check out the first episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey.. If you watch any Bravo at all, you already know they’re thick as thieves!!

Just downloaded two GREAT new songs:

No Surprise by Daughtry - like I wouldn't love a Daughtry song, but I listened to it once and LOVED it.. I missed him on Idol last night but I'm thinking if he has a new album coming out in July he'll HAVE to tour to promote it. If he comes anywhere near here, I'm in!

Her Diamonds by Rob Thomas - I know this may sound weird, but I haven't been a huge fan of his solo stuff. Again, this song got me from the minute I came across it and I couldn't not download it today. Give them both a shot!
What a surprising week of exits on reality TV shows, huh? First, Lil Kim and Derek get booted from DWTS, which I'm pretty sure came as a shock to everyone, including Ty Murray, who's still there. Then, Allison Iraheta gets kicked off after more than one knockout performance on Idol. Sometimes life just isn't fair.

Speaking of DWTS, there are rumors that Mark Ballas and Derek Hough might join Julianne Hough next season and take some time off. You know, to work on their band... that no one would ever know about if they weren't already on DWTS. Anyone ever heard the phrase "don't bite the hand that feeds you?" Well.. at least not before you establish yourself in your "other" career first! Also, Derek could be in the running for a role in the remake of Footloose, but then again, so is his sister. Creepy....

And again I ask, WHY do I continue to watch Grey's Anatomy if all it does is make me cry?

So, it was a false alarm when the cops showed up at Cher's house, but apparently THIS was not! Finding love is obviously stressful!!!

Someone actually got the best job ever!!!

Adam Jones is making a name for himself... even if the team isn't!

I guess Manny's all upset cause he was prescribed something "personal" and it wasn't steroids.. That's what they all say, right?

I thought I published this post like.. an hour ago. It's been such a long week. Thank GOD tomorrow is Friday. Hopefully our ball game doesn't get canceled, but if it does, I can't say a free night would be a bad thing!! Enjoy your Friday!!
I can't wait till the full story on this blows wide open. No offense, but it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.. 50 games is just shy of one-third of the season. At this point, you can't blame anyone but yourself for getting caught. I mean, you KNOW you're going to get tested!!! Even if it were an O, I'd probably say he got what he deserves.. Probably...

Guess who's apologizing up a storm?

If you really have to guess, you don't read this blog enough... Granted, I don't post enough, but I've kept you pretty up to date. Regardless, I'm still holding off on running back full steam. A girl has to play a little hard to get, at least that's probably what Ramona's rules (Real Housewives of NY) would say!

Speaking of which, tonight is the season finale of the Real Housewives and since I don't seem to be home EVER lately, I promise to blog about it, but not tomorrow! But DEFINITELY before next week's reunion show AND premiere of the Jersey housewives!!

Fringe has been renewed for a second season, so my mind can continue to be boggled.. and I can drool over Pacey and his sardonic wit...

The O's have finally snapped a six game slide with an 8-4 win over Tampa Bay last night. Things have been tough for the O's and Trembley is talking about mixing up the bullpen, so we'll see how things go down in the future. Vote for your all-stars!!!!

Speaking of baseball, hope Joba saved some of his hard earned cash so he can bail mom out of jail. Apparently she's suspected of being a meth dealer. Are you surprised? She named her kid JOBA for Christ's sake!!! Ok.. apparently Joba's not his real name, but let's still blame Mom since she kinda raised a guy who legally changed his name from Justin to Joba.. Hmm.. ok wait.. I think at this point, I'd choose Joba over Justin too. Call me bitter! ;)

Dom Deluise has died at the age of 75. Dom Deluise and Dorothy Zbornak within weeks of each other? Say it ain't so!!!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo and Happy (what would have been her) 77th birthday to my Grandma!

I finished The Host (hard to get into, but worth it) and am waiting for the first seven True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse books to come in the mail. You have to love Overstock!!

I have a ball game tonight, so this is all you get, but it's better than the nothing that was originally intended!!!

Busy night of TV tonight, so "watch what happens!!" ;)

Derby Day Pictures

Me, Ronnie and Jen at Meadowgreens..
Someday, Matty and I are going to make beautiful babies, don'tcha think?

COUSINS!!! :)

Someone needs to explain to me how I didn't win loads of cash on the derby yesterday. The horse that won was #8 AND it's name had BIRD in it. Seriously.. how did I miss that? I'm appalled at myself. Luckily, I won back what I had bet, so at least it wasn't a total loss, but it could have been SO much better. I spent so much time looking at the betting sheet that I guess I just overlooked it.. I"m ashamed...
