Oh snap! I really didn't see this one coming...

I just had an amazing lunch at Moe's, so I'm thinking I might have to watch my favorite housewives while walking on the treadmill tonight, so I don't feel QUITE as bad about it.. and no, I normally don't post during work hours, but that one was something that couldn't wait!

In other news, Allyson Hannigan gave birth on March 24th, which is good, because it's getting ridiculous on HIMYM with them trying to camoflauge her belly, and that was back in January! Can you imagine what it would have been like now? When you start busting out the guitars you know you're getting desperate!

Unless something else mind blowing comes up, this is all you'll get from me today. TTFN!!!

This is so not surprising.. we all know she's far from my favorite housewife, but I don't think anyone (except maybe Kelly Bensimon) deserves a death threat..

I bet the ShamWow can't clean up this mess..

Seriously.. something like this can only happen to the Orioles.. Every time I think we're close to not being the laughing stock of Major League Baseball, something like this happens.. In other O's news, Harold Baines has been elected to the Orioles Hall of Fame, while B-Rob is having some trouble with back spasms. If it's not one thing, it's another!

Apparently Jimmy Fallon wants to bring the cast of Saved by the Bell together for a reunion on his show. Click here to sign the petition to do so.

I'm not so sure how I feel about this new reality dating show for "normal people."

I caught "Chopped" on the Food Network last night and now it's another FN show that I love and it's really got to stop. I can't make, nor do I even want to eat anything that's on the shows, yet I'm competely enthralled by them.

My friend Heather turned me on to the website, Shelfari.com, for all you avid readers. You can put all the books you've read on a shelf where your friends can see them, and you can get suggestions on what to read, stuff like that. If you join, make sure you friend me! Since I finished Breaking Dawn I need something else to get into!

Today was one of those days where I wanted to eat everything in sight, and I'm pretty sure I did. Someone had given me some mini-eggs and I think they were gone by 10 am. That's not good.. I'll be eating out quite a bit this week, so the mini eggs probably weren't the best idea. Oh well.. I guess this is my "fall off the wagon" week. Hope you all enjoyed your rainy Monday.. Better luck tomorrow!

I rarely go the non-showering route. It doesn't suit me. However, today is one of those days. I have approximately 150 pages left of Breaking Dawn and there is NCAA basketball on. I have no plans, therefore no reason to take a shower. I have washed my sheets, done laundry and uploaded some videos to facebook, so I can feel good about being productive on this gloomy Sunday.

I work with a few guys who are not originally from the States, and I've noticed that for some reason, foreign guys seem to be a little skinnier than us. So much so that I really wanted to force feed both these guys Paula Deen's burger that is surrounded by doughnuts. Which as disgusting as it sounds, kind of makes me salivate just thinking about it.

Peyton Manning's birthday was earlier this week so a happy belated birthday to him!

I booked my room this week for my friend Eryn's wedding in October. The hotel where they are having the reception and where people are staying blocked off 20 rooms, but since it's also parent's weekend for Dartmouth, we had to book early. I went with the king bed. I figured if I had a date, then there'd be enough room to share. If not.. LOTS of space to stretch out. Either way, I win.

Denise Richards got the boot on DWTS this week, although I don't think it was well deserved. She really improved and while we all know I love the Girls Next Door, dancing really isn't Holly's forte. Woz wasn't even a part of the dance off, which means the nerds of the world have united to bring him to the forefront. There's one every season and this season it's certainly Woz. More power to him, as he seems to be having a good time, but I always feel bad when more deserving people have to go home. In other news, apparently Shawn Johnson has a stalker who was luckily caught before he could do any damage. He showed up to the set looking for her and he certainly had the capacity to hurt her, so hopefully everyone is OK and while he pled not guilty, hopefully this guy stays in jail for a long time!

Chris got pretty mad at me the other day when he realized I hadn't mentioned Damages once on this blog, so I'll try to make it up to him. I usually have to watch it on DVR because with soccer, it's been rare for me to be home in time to see it. It's been a really stellar season with lots of twists and turns I didn't see coming. Sometimes Tre will see something I didn't get or vice versa. I'm really looking forward to the hour and a half season finale that airs on Wednesday, almost as much as I'm looking forward to the return of Rescue Me on April 7. Michael J. Fox will start his guest starring role as Tommy's wife's new man, and I'm pretty sure he's in a wheelchair. Let the hilarity ensue!

Miguel Tejada received probation for lying to Congress about steroids, and withholding information.

I get emails from hungrygirl.com, which tells me what's good and what's bad, and I'm happy to say that hungry girl seems to like Coke Zero as much as I do!

Michael Sarver was the victim on American Idol this week, even though the original front runners didn't sing so well. Then again, neither did he, so I wasn't surprised to see him go. However, I was surprised to see Matt Giraud in the bottom. Makes me want to start voting, that's for sure!

Friday was a tough day at work. Thursday night my sister and I went to Meadowgreens as they were doing their customer appreciation night, so we got free wings and pizza for dinner. Then the basketball games started, beer started flowing, and it was kind of over from then on. I did shots, which is a rarity on the weekend and certainly not something that happens during the week, so let's just say I needed to get my car in the morning. I was beat, but Friday night was the soccer girls slumber party and we had such a great time. We drank beer, watched basketball and played partini until the first girl passed out. We totally should have frozen her underwear or something. Anyway, in Partini there is a category called "hum punch" where your teammates need to decipher the song you're humming. Sometimes it look easier than it really is:

My brackets are a bit of a mess, yet I still somehow have made a decent showing in both pools. The game that just ended between Louisville and Michigan State was just ridiculous.. I think Louisville ate a shit sandwich before playing, cause that's what they played like. As long as UCONN keeps winning, I've got a chance.

I've been watching High School Reunion as religiously as I can, and the shit sure did hit the fan this past week. Crazy Jessica has accused her old friend Maricela of being a hooker, mainly because Maricela has found some new friends at the reunion and left her nut job friend behind. The previews show everyone in shock and while I'm not quite sure Maricela is a hooker, she probably has some other deep, dark secret causing these feelings. I mean, her love Scott W doesn't even seem to be able to talk to her, so whether she's a hooker or not, something sketchy is going on. I do have to admit that Jessica's freak out was one of the best I've ever seen on reality tv. Even better than Tyra Banks and that certainly says something!

If you're on twitter, let me know. I don't make a whole lot of posts, but I'm trying to post a little more often. I'm on as kara815.

I've heard a lot about this show, Party Down, on the Starz network. I do not get Starz, but I did find the first episode online and I found it to be pretty funny. I might be biased though, cause pretty much anything with Ken Marino (from The State) makes me giggle. The cast also includes Lizzy Caplan (Mean Girls, True Blood, Cloverfield) and Jane Lynch (Role Models, The Forty Year Old Virgin). Definitely check it out. Speaking of which, I watched Role Models this week and I laughed my ass off. I didn't think it was going to be that great so I waited until it was out on DVD before I watched it, and to be honest, I only had it cause someone put it on DVD for me. I might have been the third wheel on my sister's date, but it was worth it to watch that movie. REALLY funny.. Made me enjoy Sean William Scott again..

Somehow I lost just over a pound this past week, which I don't understand because I completely fell off the wagon the week of St. Patty's. I'm pretty sure it'll all come back to get me next week, when I'm not quite expecting it. It was such a beautiful day yesterday that Tre and I decided to run the Rip Van Winkle bridge. It was the first time I'd ran outside in a very long time, and I have to admit, I kind of enjoyed it. I like running the bridge because the end is in sight. Being on a treadmill is not the same! I obviously didn't go as fast as Tre, but I felt like I did ok and only took about a thirty second break at the Catskill end. What can I say? I just was not meant to run fast and I'm becoming ok with that... kind of.

Heroes hasn't been that great lately, and I'll be one of the first to admit it. However, I thought this past week's episode was much better than they have been lately, so while it may not be event TV for me like it used to, I'm not giving up on it quite yet!

Is it sad that I started bawling watching Ace of Cakes this week? Well, this weekend.. I had a TON of stuff to get through on my DVR and that was my whole intention for the weekend.. to get through it all, which I did! I got all teary during Grey's Anatomy, so much so that I wonder why I watch it since I bawl my brains out week after week. On Ace of Cakes however, it kind of snuck up on me. They made a fortune cookie cake for this guy who wanted to propose to his girlfriend in the shop. It was just so damn cute and endearing and before I knew it, tears were running down my face. I think this once again proves that pretty much anything will make me cry!

Well hopefully this post will make up for some of my neglect as of late. I'll warn you now, I've got a very busy week planned, so I'll try to post whenever I can, but I can't make any promises. I'm heading to Sue's on Tuesday night, where I meet even hold the baby this time! Wednesday night I'm having dinner with my friend Christie and Thursday night I'm going to happy hour with some of the girls from work, which I'm really looking forward to. We're heading to a place I've never been and I hope the weather is nice enough for us to sit outside, but we'll see. Then Chris is FINALLY coming into town and basketball is on. You can see my conundrum! Therefore, have a great week and I'll be in touch..

I promise to post more later (CHRISTOPHER) however, I found this and it wouldn't be my blog if I didn't post it....

Let me pose a question as well.. When will men get the concept that all they have to do is make a quick phone call to avoid having women be pissed at them? It's such an easy concept yet NONE of you sons o'bitches get it. Perhaps men and women really are from different planets cause this one really does seem like a no-brainer to me.

Sure they lost to the #1 team in the tournament (barely), but Siena made it onto TMZ.com. Seems like a claim to fame to me! But seriously, big props to the Siena Men's Basketball team for a great showing in the NCAA tournament this weekend. Thankfully they didn't beat Louisville, but they sure as hell scared the shit out of me and my bracket!

It's been a while since I posted (i know.. I've been busy) so I have a full post-it that I intend to get to.. Lots has gone on in the last week or so!

I had left work early last Thursday, as I wasn't feeling well. In doing so, I left my daily Coke Zero in the fridge at work. I forgot about it and brought a new one in on Friday. I have a big issue with the work fridge, mainly because I feel like we're all adults and should not have to label our food. I mean, we should be able to remember what we brought in! That, and I'm the only one who has brought in a Coke Zero can EVERY DAY since I started in October, so I kind of thought putting my name on it wasn't exactly necessary. Anyway, I realized I had two sodas, but sometimes a Friday is a two soda kind of day, if you know what I mean. Anyway, when I went in at lunch, only one remained. I was LIVID. I looked all over the fridge, but it was nowhere to be found, meaning someone had stolen it. Seriously.. if you needed a soda so bad, ask for a dollar to get one out of the vending machine, don't steal someone else's! I sent an email around, but basically no one fessed up (surprisingly) or narced on anyone. What kind of world do we live in where no one wants to throw someone else under the bus!? Regardless.. it's still a mystery and now my daily soda has an obnoxious post-it note, complete with smiley face. Take that, thief!

Click here, then go to Birdland Gallery 2 and check out the third picture. I think you might know that person..

Speaking of the O's, B-Rob seems to be getting a lot of the blame for the USA's loss to Japan, with a costly error. However, I saw it, and that error was HARDLY an error so buck up B-Rob.. You made up for whatever that was with your lead off home run. Too bad the rest of your team couldn't help you out!

In other baseball news, Curt Schilling is retiring after 23 years in baseball. I hope he takes that bloody sock with him. I sure am sick of hearing about it. Is it sad that I don't remember him ever pictching for the O's?

So, three girls have been booted from Rock of Love Bus in the last week: Brittanya (mainly cause she spit on Bret's friend Heather), Ashley (for not admitting she doesn't love her baby daddy, who she also lives with) and Beverley, my dark horse. I was sad to see Ashley and Beverly go, for sheer entertainment alone! That leaves the final three as Taya (who could not be more annoying), Mindy (who's unraveling more and more each day) and Jamie (who's pretty much just flying under the radar). I'm thinking it's gonna be Taya and Mindy in the final.

To go along with that, my top pick to win Idol, Alexis Grace, was voted off this week and not saved by the judges. They basically said they would have saved her, but her performance wasn't so great at the end. You can't really blame the poor girl! I never quite get the concept of the booted contestants having to sing once they're eliminated. They already thought the song sucked, so why put us (and them) through that misery once again!?

We might not be seeing Project Runway any time soon, but we can still be happy when contestants make the news, especially for something as ridiculous as this. I find it comical that she threw a cat at him (which honestly, would be a big fear of mine to see a scared cat coming at my head), but what cracks me up the most is that when (or if) she marries him, her married name will be Kenley Penley.. What are the odds?

I have a pretty good feeling that the Real Housewives of New Jersey is gonna be an absolute train wreck, meaning it's DEFINITELY a must-DVR show! I can't wait till it starts!

Matt Lauer didn't make it into work on the Today show today, as he separated his shoulder while trying to avoid a deer on his bike over the weekend. Can you imagine what that phone call to work was like?

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are engaged, as are a whole slew of celebrity couples. I guess this was a pretty good Valentine's Day in Hollywood for some!

I think I like watching Dancing with the Stars cause I like hearing the band play songs they never have like "Bonanza (Belly Dancer)." That's some funny stuff. They must get the set list and are like "WTF?"

My friend Eryn came to town this weekend, and we had an absolute blast! I took her to bowling with me on Friday and we then went out with the bowling alley crew and watched the Siena game. I did well on brackets, got bitten in the neck (there's a story there and let me point out, it was in front of lots of people and not at all the way it sounds) and went to a bar I hadn't been to since I could legally drink. Oh yeah, it was that kind of night, but I had so much fun and laughed my ass off. The next day I took her to the mall to shop, then we met some friends at Meadowgreens to watch the b-ball games (luckily I was a big winner in Round 2) and ended up dancing our asses off. Again, great time and for once, I didn't have to drive!!!!

The Big Bang Theory has been renewed for at least two more seasons.. Yay!!

Ok, that's my post-it! I'm sure there should be more since it's been so long, but it's the best I can do if I want to have a life. I don't have too much going on this week, so I'll try to post more often! Be glad your Monday is just about over! I know I am!

As promised, St. Patty's Day pictures!!!
Here are all of us girls (minus Danny) at the Blarney Rock.
This is me and Tre at McFadden's. I don't know why she's wearing sunglasses inside, nor do I know where or how I got that shamrock headband, but I rocked it for sure. Yeah, that's me and Rob, a cop from Jersey. He and his buddies were lucky enough to meet and hang out with us. And yes kids.. he's bald. Do you expect anything less?
Oh my god, we had such a great time. I think I've mentioned plenty of times how I've had to do a lot of babysitting of my drunk friends in the last few weeks, and I really needed this time to cut loose and have a great time, which I did. I already can't wait until next year! Luckily, we were home pretty early so I got as much sleep as normal, it just wasn't quite the quality of sleep you hope for on a work night!

I had a week full of babies last week, and here are some pictures to prove it: My friend Toine, his wife Kelly and their new daughter, Taylor Gracie were in town for the weekend for her christening. We got her the sun hat, and a friend of Kelly's got her the bikini. I think she's gonna rock it on the beach! This is Toine and Taylor Gracie.. Is that not the most adorable smile you've ever seen?
This is Sue and her new daughter, Karley Sofia. I admit, I've yet to hold her, but I'm getting there. It should be easy considering Toine basically thrust Taylor into my arms with no option but to hold her!
Toine is an avid reader of my blog (and I love him for it) but even if he didn't read it, I'd tell you how great it was to see he and Kelly and to get to meet Taylor Gracie! She's such a doll and I hope they visit again soon... or have room in their new house for me (and Braves-O's tickets) hee hee..
It was yet another busy weekend for me. I was feeling better on Friday, so I went to bowling and bowled pretty well. I even won a bet, so that always makes me happy! I tried to hit the hay pretty early, cause I had to get up early on Saturday morning for the bowling tournament. After a great breakfast (damn you Weight Watchers, I haven't had an omelet in MONTHS) we headed to the bowling alley to start the day. I bowled like crap, which was such a waste of my money and sometimes not even fun! We went to Meadowgreens for the dinner and the party afterwards, where I had a good time, except (as usual) I had to keep my eye on Tre and Jason. I sent Tre home early (damn jager bombs) and dragged Jason out of the bar around 2. When I got home, the door was locked and you know Tre wasn't getting up to let me in. So yes.. a break in was the only way and it was certainly the last thing I felt like doing at 2 am, but it worked! I didn't sleep all that well, but it did make for a very good night's sleep on Sunday night!
I'm charging my camera as we speak, cause I have lots of pictures to take tomorrow! Our t-shirts came in just in the nick of time, so we're all ready to go! I'm really looking forward to our annual pilgrimage to NYC for St. Patty's!
As usual, I had a whole post-it note full of stuff to blog about, but.. well.. I forgot it at work and now I'm tired. There'll be pictures a plenty this week, I promise. Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

Thursday, March 12, 2009

Posting has been a bit... sporadic as of late. It seems my nights have been really busy, not allowing me much time to post. Perhaps that's why I'm now sick! I had a headache during the day yesterday, but I took some Excedrin Migraine (it was all I had) and I felt better. I left work early and took this "trainer fit" class at my friend Shannon's mom's gym (more on that in a bit) and afterwards, I realized I was FREEZING! Course, that's not really that strange cause I'm always cold, however everyone was saying how hot the room was and I was far from it. When I got home and realized I was STILL cold, I took my temperature and it was 99.5. I took some Nyquil and headed to bed. This morning I took my temperature right when I got up and it was 99.9, but I felt pretty good, so I decided to go to work. Big mistake.. The minute I hit traffic at a dead stop on I-90 I should have known that turning around was my best option. However, I continued on to work and lasted through a half day. Good God I felt like crap. I still don't feel 100%, but right now I do feel better. I'm thinking I'm just run down as I've been so damn busy lately and haven't given myself a chance to recuperate and to be honest, this is the only time I have to be sick at the moment. I have a big bowling tournament on Saturday that will last all day (and celebrations/entertainment into the night) and then with St. Patty's Day on Tuesday, well, I can NOT be sick for either.

On Tuesday I took a beginner's yoga class at the YMCA in East Greenbush. All I can say about that place is "wow." There is so much going on! The pool is amazing, there are tons of classes and it seems like there will never be a time where there aren't enough machines for everyone to use. It's absolutely insane! I'm seriously contemplating joining, however the $50 monthly fee is a bit much. Still, I was surprised to realize that I really enjoyed the yoga class, which is funny only because I am a really impatient person and I didn't expect to enjoy it and/or find it relaxing. The class was only 25 minutes and I'm curious to see how an hour long class would go. Wednesday night I went to the trainer fit class at "What a Girl Wants" in Chatham. I am having a bit of trouble walking today. We worked muscles I didn't even know I had. The guy was good, but at one point I had to drop an f-bomb on him. He was telling me that I was doing something wrong, but wasn't telling me how to fix it, which I found really frustrating! Luckily, my friend Shannon told me how to fix it and from that point on, I was fine. Still, if that's your job, you should be able to point out the problem AND fix it! Regardless, as much as I was in pain and staring at the clock willing the hour to end, it was a very good class and I would go again if I didn't have to leave work 45 minutes early to get there!

As usual, I had a post-it full of stuff to blog about, but it hurts my body too much to get off the couch and get it, so maybe tomorrow night or this weekend I'll manage to find some entertaining things to blog about. For now, you've just got me! TGIF my friends..

I managed to put the kibosh on tonight's date. I was literally giving myself an ulcer just thinking about it, so I knew it was the right thing to do. I tried to get voicemail, but that didn't work. He answered and I accidentally said "oh, I thought I'd get voicemail." Yeah.. that wasn't smart. Anyway, I just told him I'd just gotten out of a relationship a month or so ago (technically not a lie) and that he and I still talk (ok.. that was a bold faced lie, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do) and that I just didn't feel ready to date anyone else (AGAIN.. BOLD FACED LIE) and I didn't want to lead him on (not a lie). So.. 1/2 of my statements were lies, but I think it was way better than telling him I think he might be a little bit on the creepy stalker side. Which I feel bad about, cause he genuinely seemed like a nice guy.. Just a little.. overzealous, let's say.. So thanks to everyone for the advice, except for Bill, whose exact words were "run away and change your number." Not helpful.

Monday, March 09, 2009

Once again, I'm beat after a very busy weekend. I took it easy Friday night by coming home and watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was a really funny movie, but I definitely saw more of Jason Segel than I think I will ever need to see! I caught up on my TV watching on Saturday and also managed to run a whole mile without stopping.. Woo hoo! Later that night, my sister, Danny and I went to the MAAC tournament. We had a really great time, but (as usual) I got roped into driving and then into going out even later than expected. It took a lot of pushing to get them both out of the bar and with the time change, I didn't get to bed till 4 am. My uncle came over to put down our dining room floor at 9 am, and shortly after that, Tre, my mom and I went to the outlets down in Harriman. I got some great deals and some of the cutest shoes I've ever seen. On the way home, my cousin called because one of her friends had tickets in a box at the TU Center for the Siena game that night and even though we were both exhausted (and Tre was still pretty hungover) we went. You just can't turn down free tickets in the box! Unfortunately, the game was a bit of a snooze fest, but we still had fun. We didn't get home until after 10, just in time for me to catch the season premiere of Keeping up with the Kardashians and head to sleep!

I need some advice: I think I mentioned how I got asked out on a date by a really nice guy, but I wasn't quite sure what to do about it. The date is actually set (just drinks) but I don't think I can go through with it and I need a really good reason to blow him off nicely, for the following reasons:
1) 3 days after meeting me, he called to tell me "he was thinking about me." (Yes, this sounds cute but it's really not.. not when you've talked to that person once).
2) He keeps referring to the place where we met like we've been together for years
3) He asked me if he could go to NYC for the St. Patty's Day Parade with me (yeah.. that one caught me off guard).
4) I've come to find out he's closer to my parent's age than mine.
Someone help me out. I think he's a really nice guy, but I don't want to lead him on and he's kind of creeping me out just a bit. So do I tell him I'm dying, gay or married? I need help quick, as I'm supposed to meet him on Wednesday and I feel like a terrible person, but if I were a terrible person, it probably wouldn't have gotten this far, know what I mean? HELP

I was concerned that my main man, Tony Dovolani, would not be on DWTS this season, since his partner Nancy O'Dell had to pull out due to injury. I don't think I'll be too thrilled with his new pairing, but I'd rather see him on the show with someone I'm not excited about, rather than not at all. I'm watching the show now and so far Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke have stolen the show. My opinions are still out on most but I'll keep you posted.

I was very saddened to hear this little tidbit, but happy to see that the prognosis is good!

So, Vince Vaughn got engaged.. which is interesting because I wasn't even aware he was dating someone.. especially a NORMAL person.. She's a real estate agent in Canada.. Damn Canucks..

In casting news, Dakota Fanning has agreed to take on a role in the Twilight sequel, New Moon, while Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is taking on a role in the new Melrose Place remake. I wasn't as into Melrose Place, but I'll probably check it out anyway. I wonder how long it will be before the crossover show takes place!

As much as it's gotten a lot of criticism after its star first season, Heroes really is being renewed for another season (say the rumors).

My internet connection seems to be wavering and working when it wants to, so I'm gonna cut this short. I doubt I'll have time to post tomorrow, as I'm going to a Beginner's Yoga class with two of my co-workers AND hanging out with Sue and her new daughter, Karley (aka Kapuki). I still have some packing to do for tomorrow, my laundry isn't done and neither is DWTS. Happy Monday all!

Wednesday, March 04, 2009

On my way home from work today, I was behind a mini-van that had a TV in it. I noticed the movie the kids in the backseat were watching was Dodgeball. If you're driving a mini-van with kids in the back, I'm thinking Dodgeball might not be the best choice for their viewing pleasure.

I've been banished to my room, as my sister is watching a movie with (GASP) a boy downstairs. So, I'm watching the season premiere of America's Next Top Model, which is two hours long. That means brainiacs, that I won't be watching the Top Chef Reunion in real time, as I'd originally hoped. Speaking of not watching, I have a feeling Casey won't be either..

Now I love McNuggets, but I'm not sure I would go THIS far..

You put WHAT? In WHERE? I don't get it...

Who would steal from a Ripken!? Seriously!?

I signed up for Twitter. We are not getting along as of yet. I've only tried it at work, so maybe that just shows that they want me to... I don't know.. WORK at work and not twitter.. but whatever.

I haven't gone to Weight Watchers in a few weeks, mainly cause I thought I'd been a bad girl. I sucked it up and went today. I've decided I like mid-week weigh ins. It gives you a chance to make up for a bad weekend. I've lost 3.4 pounds since the last time I went and I've now lost 14.8 pounds. I celebrated by having enchiladas for dinner. My compliments to the Chef.. Yep.. that was me! I'll compliment myself again tomorrow when I have the leftovers for dinner. Seriously, I might not be able to make much, but what I can make, I make WELL!!!

I didn't want to see the Red Sox or Yankees play anyway...

I'm not sure if this will stop me from watching.. I should keep watching to find out if I care anymore.

I don't know if I mentioned this, but I found out last week that J told one of his buddies that he tried calling me and left me messages, but I never called him back. Um.. I'm sorry, what? Yeah, maybe on Opposite Day! I restrained myself and didn't immediately call him out on his "mistake," but it really ate at me. I don't know why I cared so much. I guess anyone that knows he and I would know better than to think that! The other day I broke down and texted him regarding that statement, but didn't hear back. I didn't expect to.. I just really wanted to have had the last word, even though I kind of already did because I left a message that he never thought was worth replying to. And we're not together anymore, why!?

Soccer is over, so I will have no more updates till the Fall. I'm sad about it, but it's kind of nice to be home in my jammies and not getting ready to play soccer. Hope your hump day was as productive as mine!

I'm exhausted. It was a very long weekend with very little sleep involved.

Friday night I had to bowl (not well, might I add) then ran to Meadowgreens for the beer pong tournament. Tre and Danny were out by the time I got there, but even I managed to get a few games in, just for shits and giggles. We got home around 1, and were rudely woken up by someone grinding branches right outside our house. That was fun. I spent the rest of the day cleaning the house and making food for our dirty toy party. We had such a great time. Laughed our asses off and I think everyone had a blast (and hopefully will eventually get some action!) I ended up at Meadowgreens once again, where I picked up a drunk or two, which caused me to get less sleep than I had anticipated... It had both its entertaining and annoying moments..

Sunday I spent the day at yet another bowling alley, watching my sister and some of the guys bowl. Two of the five were hungover, while I was just tired. We had beers in hand by 10:30 and the whole day was fun, even though no one bowled fantastic. We were home pretty early, so I popped in The Brothers McMullen.. and subsequently fell asleep. The parts I saw of it were good! I woke up in time for Rock of Love Bus and the final episode of the REAL Girls Next Door (not the show it would be if those skanky twins Hef is dating get their own show as well) but then couldn't fall asleep afterwards. I am pretty sure I didn't get more than four hours of sleep, so I'm ready to crash at any moment.

Ok.. snippets..

Bill introduced me to Pandora. CHECK IT OUT! The first four songs it gave me were literally four of my most favorite songs in the world. It's a nice change from the ipod.

The Real Housewives reunion was a trainwreck of epic proportions, that solidifed my feelings that Vicki is the most delusional woman on the face of the planet. If I were Gretchen, I think I wouldn't have even bothered to try to talk over her, because it just didn't matter.. she was going to say what she was going to say and accept no blame for anything she said or did. Poor Donn.. As for the Tamra/Gretchen verbal beatdown, I don't even know what to say. I think it was a shitty time for Tamra to bring up what she did, especially when it's not really something she can prove! I do feel bad for Gretchen. Did I think her relationship with Jeff was sketchy? Absolutely, but it did seem like she cared for him regardless. Anyway, it was a mess, but so damn entertaining. I can only hope the Top Chef reunion on Wednesday is half as good!

Speaking of Top Chef, Hosea squeaked out the win past Stephan and Carla. Carla shot herself in the foot by listening too much to her sous chef, Casey. Hosea got lucky with Richard Blais as his sous chef, while it couldn't have been a more fitting combination to have Stephan paired up with Marcel. The final was really between Stephan and Hosea and while Stephan did well, the fact that his dessert wasn't so great kind of sealed his fate. Hosea decided not to make a dessert, which provided him the opportunity to put out an adequate third dish and take the prize.

My sister and I went to see "He's Just Not That Into You" on Thursday night. It was cute.. nothing overly special, but certainly entertaining. I was thrilled because I had popcorn for dinner. An entire medium popcorn with butter. My stomach did NOT like me after that, but I have no doubts that I will do it again tomorrow when Tara and I go see Slumdog Millionaire.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen got married, even though they kept denying they were even engaged.

3 more contestants have made their way into the Top 12 of American Idol. I haven't had a chance to watch the results show yet, but I hear the ones that were picked were certainly ones that deserved it.. Unlike "Norman Gentle." But remember kids, he's still got a shot in the wild card round... unless Simon has something to say about it!

I have really got to marry rich and then get divorced.. Wow...

What's the phrase? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me? Shame on YOU Rihanna.. Seriously? Glutton for punishment much?

I've got some stuff to do before I pass out. Hope everyone had a great weekend and be careful on those roads! I really hope that after today's storm, Mother Nature is done screwing with us. I really hate driving in the snow..
