Friday never comes quick enough

I lifted weights with my sister last night, for the first time in forever. Somehow I can walk today, but I have a feeling that's not going to last much longer. I'll never admit this to her, but it kind of felt good. It's nicce to know there might actually be muscles underneath the fat.

My big, sexy friend Toine sent me the link to Mark Cuban's blog. The more recent posts are about Dancing with the Stars, but even the rest of it is interesting, and might even be enjoyed by those with little interest in the Mavericks and sports. Apparently he has a thing for HD also..

I got a wonderful surprise when I got home today. My Entertainment Weekly (which usually comes on Saturday) was sitting on the island in my kitchen and on the cover were Jim and Pam from The Office... holding hands. Of course, I found out last night that Jim and Pam ARE dating on the show (FINALLY) and that Dwight felt the need to euthanize Angela's cat. Of course, that might have worked a little better if he'd made 100% sure the cat was dead before he put it in the freezer. That can put a damper on any relationship! Anyway, there were four covers you could get from EW this week: Dwight and Angela, Jim and Pam, Michael and Jan, and Ryan and Kelly. So, I'm pretty happy I got the one I got!

I was just starting to fall asleep when my phone rang last night. It was my friend Shell, letting me know she'd found yet another man she wants to try and set me up with. I even checked out his myspace page today.. cute.. a little young.. not sure he's my type.. but definitely cute.. and bald :). She is always thinking of people for me which is nice to know. Case in point: she found a pallbearer at the funeral she was at this past week. Unfortunately, he has a girlfriend but it's the thought that counts, don't you agree?! I mean, you kiss enough frogs eventually you'll find your Prince.. isn't that the saying?

Time for me to finish watching Grey's Anatomy (I taped it last night) and take a shower so I can re-do my hair. I got it cut last night and it's not cooperating so I figure I'll take another shower and show it who's boss. Enjoy your weekend!

Oh, the lengths to which we will go

My co-worker ran to the store this afternoon and came back with a bag of M & M's. She then dumped them all into a bowl which I walk past whenever I need a drink or have to go to the bathroom. Considering I drink water all day long, I walk by that bowl A LOT! I got the smart idea to weigh the M & M's on our postage scale to see how many constitute an ounce, which equals 2 points. Here's your answer: 32 M&M's (give or take) is an ounce, therefore 8 M&M's are 1/4 oz. and .5 points. I would say 16 M&M's isn't a terrible 1 point snack, especially if you have PMS and are really jonesing for some chocolate and a hard candy shell. I have an ounce wrapped in a paper towel in my desk in case the mood strikes.

If only you could have seen my boss's face when she walked out of her office to find me weighing M&M's. It was a mix of "what the fuck" and... Ok, well, it was pretty much just "what the fuck." However, as a weight watcher herself, she was very encouraging and happy to hear the findings of my study, even though I had to conduct it on work time.

PS

If you get a chance, check out Reaper on the CW... it's a funny, witty show and entertaining as all hell. Plus, it was conceived by two women and Kevin Smith directed the pilot. If that's not enough for the geeks, Sam's love interest is played by Missy Peregrym, who was on Heroes last season. What more could you ask for? It's on Tuesday nights at 9:00.

So close...

yet so far away. That's how we felt at our soccer game last night. We ended the first half up 2-1 and then we lost it. Literally.. I don't know what happened to us but we couldn't have scored even if there wasn't a goalie. The other team kept getting these ridiculous shots off. I'm talking shots that didn't even look like they had a chance.. completely lucky! We lost 6-2 and boy was the other team pushy! However, when we pushed them back, they got all mouthy and mad. This woman got in my sister's face and it was ridiculous, but funny to watch. I got leveled by a woman EASILY twice my size. She knocked me down and then came down right on top of me. I let out a preemptive "ouch," right before she toppled over me. It was not fun, but Tre said it was pretty funny to watch. My turf burn says otherwise. It was a disappointing loss for us, but I think it'll motivate us even more next week and we're even going to put people in the positions they want to be in.. That's a start. After the game a few of us went to my friend and teammate, Allyson's house to chill out in her hot tub. It felt soooo good and I didn't want to get out. We were in there for at least two hours.. drinking beers and chatting. I'm pretty sure I was half in the bag when I got home but I had a really good time.

I was right about Dancing with the Stars: Josie Maran was the first to go, and rightfully so. As a model, you don't really have much of a fan base, so it surprised me that Marc Cuban was in the bottom two and not Albert Reed (I think.. I'm just stealing this from the internet.. I wasn't home to watch the actual show).

My friend Allyson is an X-ray tech, and she was telling me how wonderful it is and how much they make while we were sitting in the hot tub. I've always thought it would be a cool job, but I've never been so great at math or science so I never even gave it another thought. I did look up course listings and stuff online today, just to see. I'd have to do a lot of research on it (and go to school full time) but who doesn't want to wear scrubs to work every day!? Oh, the money I would save and the extra I would make!!!

Perhaps it was the 5 Amstel Lights I had last night, but I'm having a little trouble getting through this day, so I should immerse myself in the work I have to do. Tonight consists of Moxie's pizza with my parents, a hair cut (I've gone almost two months without one) and weight lifting with Tre.. My big decision is do I watch The Office or Grey's Anatomy!? Oh yeah.. never a dull moment with me..

Dancing with the Stars - Week 1

Well, I'm going to try to make this a quickie. I have stuff to do but I couldnt' resist blogging about it. I had no intentions of watching the show cause no one got me excited over it.. Then I watched it.

Jennie Garth was the first to go with newcomer Derek Hough, brother of last season's winner, Julianne Hough. They tackled the cha cha and while Jenny looked uncomfortable, she did well. It'll probably just take her time getting used to the audience and the moves together. Next came Josie Maran, paired with Alec Mazo (I think.. remember.. these are all off the top of my head). Now, I'd heard Josie sucked and I was pleasantly surprised when I watched her. Don't get me wrong, she's not good. However, she wasn't as bad as I expected. I think she got kind of a harsh beat down from the judges and that, coupled with her lack of fan base, will more than likely send her home. Sabrina Bryan (Disney's Cheetah Girls) was next with a new, adorable partner. I think his name is Brian (but not really creepy, gay Brian from last year) They look really cute together and he constantly kissed her forehead.. It makes me wonder.. Regardless, they stole the show with their hip hop infused cha cha. She does have a dance/hip hop background so it's obvious she has rhythm, but she was throwing in footwork that was unreal. The judges agreed, but docked her some points for making the cha cha a little TOO hip hop. I think she's learned her lesson on that one. Marie Osmond. SHe was paired with Jonathan Roberts and they put together an elegant fox trot. Nothing special, but it looked good. She has a lot of fans, but I don't see her winning.. I mean, fox trot is one thing, but those saucy latin dances might throw her for a loop. A perfect pairing if I ever saw one is Mel B (of the Spice Girls and Eddie Murphy's baby mama) and Maksim.. I'm not even going to try to type his name, although after last season I did learn how to say it. They are both control freaks so you know their rehearsal footage will be fun to watch, much like with Laila Ali last year. They took on the cha cha and it was a good performance. She's another one that has some dance background, although she definitely tried to downgrade her ability. Regardless, she's not going home. Finally it was Jane Seymour, the oldest woman on the show. She was paired with Tony Dovolani who was completely starstruck by her. It was really cute to watch them. She did a really great, and elegant fox trot but again, I'm curious to see what will happen when she has to take on the latin dances.

On to the men... I admit, I was busy downloading songs to my ipod last night so I wasn't paying as much attention to the man, but I'll generalize for you. First up was my mom's pick, Cameron Mathison and his partner, Edita Slywinska. I love her.. if I looked like her I swear I'd never wear clothes.. EVER. She's perfect. Anyway, he has a lot of personality and a soap opera fan base so I think he's safe. He has a lot of room for improvement (as they all do) but you could tell how hard he worked and what fun he was having. Next up was professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather with my least favorite dancer EVER, Karina Smirnoff. Again, he wasn't terrible, but his moves were very bouncy and looked more hip hop than ballroom. I believe he was the lowest scoring guy, but I can't remember. Next up was Albert Reed (apparently he's a model) with his partner Anna Trebunskya (sp?). I know no one knows who the guy is, but he is really funny and entertaining and I kind of hope he stays. Plus, he's pretty damn easy on the eyes. He wasn't great, but I don't think he was the worst either. Last year's winner, Julianne Hough is paired with yet another good looking guy with rhythm, indy car driver Helio Castronieves. GRRRR... he's a hottie, and he can move his hips, that's for sure. I think they'll go far. They might not win, but they'll make a pretty good run for it. He has a lot of potential and after seeing what she did with Apolo last year, anything is possible. Oh lord, Marc Cuban and Kym Johnson. I'm sorry.. he wasn't as bad as I expected, especially for a guy who got his hip replaced recently. I laughed my ass off as he sang the song (from the Swingers soundtrack) he was dancing to the entire time. He's entertaining to say the least. Finally, Wayne Newton and Cheryl Burke. Poor Cheryl.. Wayne Newton's one hell of an entertainer, but not that great a dancer. Don't get me wrong, he's doing really well for his age and he'll probably stick around much like Jerry Springer a few seasons ago, but that doesn't make him good.

Everyone has lots of time and room to improve and I think it'll be an interesting season with no real runaway winner. I'm guessing Josie Maran will get the boot tonight, but we'll have to wait and see. I can't wait until it goes back to its regular schedule. I don't have time for this "three night event" crap.

I also DVR'd Reaper on the CW.. I've read a lot about it and it seems like an interesting premise. That, and the Devil is played by Laura Palmer's Dad on Twin Peaks (Ray Wise). Awesome!Tonight is soccer which means the DVR is working overtime. I'm taping Top Chef, ANTM, Private Practice and Tre is taping Criminal Minds. Thank god for the weekends cause that's the only time I have to watch my shows! Damn me and my busy life! We're jonesing for a win on the soccer field so everyone's pretty hyped up and excited. We're playing a team that only has 1 win and 2 losses so we're thinking we might actually have a shot, as we definitely faced the toughest teams in the league our first few weeks. I'll keep you posted.

Hump 'em if you got 'em.

I'm having one of those nights

1997 was a really shitty year for me. I lost my grandfather, one of my good friends from Col-Greene, my dog Odie, and my friend/godmother's son in just a matter of months. As my mother was talking about it tonight she reminded me that it was 10 years ago that this all happened. I was sitting at dinner with her just talking about it and I got tears in my eyes. I mean, I'm an emotional person but I really am surprised that I'm so affected by it still. Just talking to my mom about the day Odie was put to sleep got me all teary and my mom called me out on it. All I can remember about the day is that I was at college, waiting for my friend Amy to come back from class so we could go to lunch. She showed up with our friend Jeromy and I just started to bawl! I mean, I'd had the dog since I was 8 years old and for someone who's not a big fan of dogs, Odie was my baby.. I was sitting on a chair in the hallway, Amy was hugging me and Jeromy knelt down next to me and I petted his head for what seemed like forever. It's one of my most traumatic memories, but also one of my favorites, just for the sheer humor involved. I mean, I can only imagine what people were thinking seeing me petting Jeromy! He was a good sport.. So, I was trying to tell my mom that story and I lost it at the Plaza Diner. Well, I didn't lose it, but I had to stop telling the story or I probably would have. Ten years later and I'm that upset about losing my dog, which explains why when my mom started talking about Grandpa I couldn't even talk. I get compared to my grandfather a lot and I take that as a compliment, even though it's probably not always meant that way! Honestly, I can't even write about him for fear of getting a short circuit on my keyboard from the tears! My dad's father died when I was little, so my grandpa was really the only one I had for most of my life. I think I'm still in denial that it's been ten years and I might even be in denial that he and my grandma are gone. I like to think they're just on an extended vacation to Ireland, where my grandma always wanted to go!

Sometimes you just need a good cry and I've held it back all night, but I plan on letting go later. What can I say? Sometimes you just have to let it out! Until I can do so, I decided laughter was the best medicine for my mood. I have to thank Toine for that one.

I got sucked into Dancing with the Stars so I'll try to blog about it tomorrow.. Good night!

I'm about to lay the smack down

on the XM nation.. I don't know if I've been complaining about it on this blog, but it seems my XM radio has decided to work only when it feels like, which is basically.... NEVER! I changed the frequency a few times, I moved the antenna, but it's been to no avail. As of right now the only real reason I still have it is for Major League Baseball. I like listening to the Orioles games, regardless of the outcome. This glitch only began during the summer, but it's caused me to not even use it and it's been such a waste. If the monitor doesn't say "antenna" it says "no signal." I looked at the XM web site to see if they had any answers (they didn't) and I'm reluctant to hit up Radio Shack in the HUD because the store doesn't focus solely on XM so I'm pretty sure they're not going to know shit. So, what I'm trying to say is that if anyone knows ANYTHING about XM radio and has some ideas to help me out, feel free to drop me a comment or an email. I could certainly use the help.

Kiefer Sutherland got busted for DUI this morning in LA. Apparently he blew twice the legal limit after making an illegal U-turn. What is wrong with people in Hollywood!? Granted, I've never driven there, but it seems the "illegal U-turn" is what gets them every time! I mean... how hard can it be to pull into a parking lot or street to turn around!?

Heroes, as always, was phenomenal. I got home from Tre's soccer game (they won 2-1) and settled in to watch it around 9:30, so then I could watch without commercial interruption. Granted, there were very few commercial breaks, but even limited interruption irks me now! The title was "Four Months Later" and we're under the impression that everyone is going on with their lives, thinking Peter Petrelli and Sylar are dead. Yeah, if you really thought that you were wrong on both accounts. There are a few new heroes we're learning about, and Claire is trying to be "unremarkable" at her new California high school, which might be pretty hard when the boy who's seemingly wooing her is a hero himself. Hiro's Dad really is dead after a masked someone pushes him off a roof, and if the pictures are any indication, Mrs. Petrelli will be next. Nathan is an alcoholic mess and Hiro is disappointed by his own personal hero in Japan. Only four more episodes until Kristen Bell makes an appearance!! And oh yeah.. HRG has a name - Noah... it really doesn't suit him, but neither does his job at Copy Kingdom. Talk about unremarkable.. It was a great episode and reminded my why I'm ok with waiting all summer for it it come back and brighten up my Monday nights. I hope Santa thinks to get me the first season on DVD for Christmas (well, Santa or my imaginary boyfriend.. either one). I haven't gotten a chance to watch Dancing with the Stars yet, but I heard the women (with one exception) were pretty good. Apparently Josie Maran is a dancing trainwreck, much like Billy Ray Cyrus last year. However, I don't think she has the fan base to sustain her as long as she'd like. Damn shame too, cause I think she has a hot partner.... Tonight the men take to the floor and my mom is rooting for Cameron Mathison, as he's on he soap opera. Which one, I have no idea, but he's pretty easy on the eyes so I kind of hope he works it out.

What did people do when there was no internet? I imagine a shit load more work got done, don't you?

I hate to admit this

and if ever in a court of law I will deny, deny, deny and deny again... After watching MTV for days on end (ok.. the weekend) I am intrigued to see what a trainwreck their show Pageant Place is going to be. It was the same commercial over and over again but each time I wanted to know what the point of the show was... and I will probably try to catch it. Speaking of things I'm ashamed of, I managed to watch the majority of the premiere of "Gossip Girl" on the CW last night. I didn't mean to do it, but I happened upon it and it was a nice distraction between commercials and the dances I had seen 14 times on SYTYCD. It's an interesting show.. not sure it's really for the age group it seems to be aimed at, but I kind of liked it. Will I watch it every week? Doubtful... but I don't watch anything else on Sundays at 8 so I might have to waste my time by checking it out. Don't judge me.

Heroes starts tonight and I WILL watch it after I get home from soccer (at least then I don't have to deal with commercials). Dancing with the Stars also debuts and I haven't decided if I'm going to tape it or not. No one has intrigued me and if I don't have Samantha Harris to crack on (she had a baby girl just yesterday, I believe), I don't really know if it's worth it. I'll keep you posted on that one.

What a show!

Wow.. I really am in shock and awe at how good the So You Think You Can Dance show was. I didn't really know what to expect and it definitely delivered! The Top 10 (and then some) performed all the best dances from the season and then some new ones to boot. It was the first night of the show and everyone was so hyped up and excited and it showed. My friend Sue and I can not wait to get tickets for next year already! In case it couldn't get any better, MTV showed the whole season in a marathon all weekend. I think I'm actually "So You Think You Can Dance"d out! I would really like it if they showed the first season (which I didn't know existed) and the second season (which I only watched near the end) because I'm curious to see how it compares and what some of the dances were like. It was well worth the money I spent on it.

Other than that, my weekend was very mellow. I did some shopping on Saturday and cleaned, something I've been putting off for weeks. Saturday night I took some time out from the MTV marathon to watch the movie "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg. It was pretty good. I'll admit I fell asleep for a split second or two, but I was still able to enjoy it. Sunday I went to a bridal shower where I stuffed my face with breakfast quiche and cream puffs (weigh in is NOT going to be fun for anyone involved tomorrow) and then vegged out all day. I had absolutely no motivation whatsoever. I kept saying "it's so nice out, I should go for a walk." The only walk I took was down the stairs to get some more Coke Zero or put my laundry in the dryer. Oh well, we all have our days.

Not much going on today either. My big plan is to hit the gym after work then mosey back up this way for my sister's 7:00 soccer game. Most of her night games are on Fridays so I don't get to see them. Plus, it gets REAL cold at night in October so I'm going to take advantage while I still can... I'll try to post a bit more later, but I make no promises. My home computer is being a bitch lately..

I got rid of them!!

The tickets I mean.. My sister put up a sign at school and one of the kids there bought them. I sold them for $20 a piece. I mean, it's the day of the show and I'd rather someone use them rather them have the tickets go to waste. I'm just happy I was able to get something back, as I was ready to just give them away. So yes, tonight I will be at the So You Think You Can Dance show and I'm very excited about it. My friend Sue and I are going to give "The Sports Grill" a shot for dinner. It used to be a Bennigan's in East Greenbush but recently opened up under a new name. I'm curious to see how it is. I figure we'll be there pretty early so we shouldn't have to wait too long for a table. Even if we do, there's plenty of time. The show doesn't start until 8:00.

God, Fridays are such a waste. I feel like I've done nothing today. That quite possibly could be because I HAVE done nothing, or at least have avoided work at all costs. I have very little planned this weekend, which I'm both peeved and relieved about. My next month or so is jam packed with things to do, so it'd be nice to have a day where there's nothing I HAVE to do. However, we all know how much I hate sitting still, even if it's through an America's Next Top Model marathon. Speaking of which, I watched the first episode of Season 9 that I DVR'd Wednesday night and some crazy shit is going to go down. No one has really jumped out at me as the front runner, but there are certainly some crazy bitches that are going to inhabit that house. I'm looking forward to next week when the real drama, photoshoots and eliminations starts!

In other reality TV news, the final four for Top Chef have been determined, and after a very scary (well, at least for me) elimination on Wednesday night, Dale is one of them! Sara was finally eliminated after her dish flopped in execution. You can't serve Gail Simmons raw meat and expect to get away with it!!! Casey and Hung are the front runners for me at this point, but anything can happen and Brian and Dale have just as much of a chance. I'd really like to see a girl win though. Granted, Casey flopped in the beginning and basically got by on her luck with the immunity challenges, but she has continuously stepped it up in the last few weeks shown she is a true competitior. I want Hung to flounder just once!!! I think it'd be great if the Judges booted him when he was this close to the victory that he truly feels he deserves!! I don't think anyone is a bigger fan of Hung than Hung.

I have some work to get done today so I better get a move on. I'd blog over the weekend but since it looks to be pretty bland, I doubt I'll have much to blog about! Perhaps I'll scour the internet for some interesting tidbits. We'll see how it goes. There's a better chance I'll finally watch the movies that have been festering in my home from Netflix and "Say Anything" which I taped last Saturday night and have never seen all the way through. Priorities.. Have a great weekend!

And another one...

Well.. we got our ass whooped again last night in indoor soccer, 10-3. We played the best team in the league and for the first 10 minutes we somehow held them scoreless. Then, the floodgates opened. Their passing was phenomenal and some of the shots they took (and made) were just insane. We put up a good fight; we're just still trying to learn the best way to play with each other. I mean, these teams have played together for five years and we're going on three weeks. We're getting better every week and regarless of our record, everyone is having fun. We're alreay making plans to play in the next session. As I've said before, I only played one year of soccer at Col-Greene, so I know that I'm not that great (or fast) but I try real hard and I think it shows. Last night, the goalie on the other team told me that I should shoot more. I'm pretty sure that was a compliment. We were talking about going down to the next level, but I think we're going to stay where we're at. We may not win, but at least the games will be good.

No TV news to report as I didn't get home till late. I had to walk past the TV with my hands over my ears as Tre watched Top Chef so I didn't find out who went home. That's going to have to wait until the weekend, I'm afraid. I don't see it getting done tonight and certainly not tomorrow night as (in case you haven't heard) I'm going to the So You Think You Can Dance concert. Oh yeah... again, in case you haven't heard, I'm still trying to get rid of two tickets: Section 122, Row N, Seats 12 and 13 - $45.00 apiece. If you know of ANYONE who'd have a slight interest in going, please bring it up to them. I'd REALLY rather someone use them if they can!

Who'dve thunk?

Dick claimed victory last night on Big Brother 8 in a 5-2 vote over his daughter, Daniele. It's probably a good thing for him, because I find it hard to believe Daniele would have forked over much cash to Dick, even though neither would have been in the final two without the other. The looks of shock on everyone's faces was priceless when they found out Eric was "America's Player." I mean, Dick has America to thank for everything! If Eric had been able to cast his own vote, Dick would have been voted out over Dustin and I'm sure Daniele would have followed suit shortly after, as neither of them had someone to watch their back. What's funny is, he probably has Eric to thank for the win too, because until Eric started talking Dick up over Daniele, everyone was dead set against voting for him due to his tactics in the game. I kind of hope they don't do the America's Player thing again because I'm curious to see how the show would have turned out had Eric been able to play his own game. I'm not saying he would have been a great player, but I'd like to know and I'm sure he would too. However, he made an assload of money by doing America's bidding so more power to him. As much as I hate to say it, my congratulations go out to Dick and kudos to him for using some of the loot to go on an around the world trip. After 81 days in that house he sure as hell deserves it! Let's take bets on how long Dick and Daniele's "relationship" will last after they're done doing press for the show and have stretched their 15 minutes of fame.

No Big Brother until next year, so I'll have to find another show to engross myself in....

America's Next Top Model starts tonight.... set your DVR.

Problem Solved...

I'm peeved

with FX. Last week they started showing "Malcom in the Middle" as one of their new syndicated shows. No biggie, I thought. Now maybe they can stop showing "That 70's Show" for three hours a day. Apparently, they disagreed and decided to broadcast MITM at 7:00 on weekdays... when they USED to show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I watched religiously while I got ready for work. Funny thing is, I used to hate the show because I had an ex-boyfriend who was totally obsessed with it. Therefore, I refused to give it a chance until FX began playing it. I think at this point I've seen every episode more than once, but that's not the point. The point is, what do I now have on in the background while I get ready for work? THE NEWS!? Anyone that knows me knows I don't watch the news.. too damn depressing (and yes, I still consider the Today Show, Good Morning America and The Early Show to be "the news.") HBO helped out last week by running "A Cool Dry Place," "Blue Chips," and "Necessary Roughness" in the AM, but I think they shot their load and are now showing movies of no interest to me. I'd watch MTV and VHI but God knows they don't play actual videos anymore except between 2 and 5 am on Saturdays.. I think I'll boycott FX (ya know.. once Damages has it's season finale).

Tune in tonight for the finale of Big Brother 8!!!! The decision is never as obvious as one would think.

Tickets

I picked up the tickets for So You Think You Can Dance. They are in Section 122, Row N and I think (off the top of my head) they are seats 2 and 3. They should be decent seats (not on the floor) and I'm willing to part with them for $45.00 a piece. And yes, I'm definitely losing some loot in doing so, but I want to get rid of them and not lose even more money on them. So, if you know of anyone who would be interested, please get in contact with me. The show is at 8:00 on Friday, September 21st (yep.. this Friday) at the Times Union Center aka the Pepsi Arena.

Hot Mess

Thanks to my weekend and the Emmy's "hot mess" is an appropriate title for today's blog. Let me explain.

Saturday morning I woke up at 5:53 to the sound of pounding rain on my roof. Normally, the sound of rain on the roof puts me to sleep, however, I knew I would be spending the day outside working at a golf tournament. Therefore, rain is the last thing I wanted to hear. It was then I decided not to shower, since I was just going to get wet anyway. I put on some makeup and four layers of clothing before I refreshed my hair and was downstairs well before the 7:20 pickup time my cousin had arranged for me. As I opened the curtains, I saw a car leaving my driveway. Yep, my ride had just ditched me. I spent some time calling my cousin to see what I should do and to get some directions, as I had to drive myself to the Copake Country Club. It was still raining when I left and after a few wrong turns, I made it there in one piece. I had never worked at this tournament and my cousin wasn't there yet, so I had no idea what to do or where to go. Luckily, my initial ride was there, asking where I had been earlier that morning. Apparently someone's clock in their car was at least 10 minutes ahead, so i was in the clear. Anyway, my cousin Chrissy and I spent the day in a golf cart, selling 50/50 tickets and judging the "closest to the pin" on the 8th hole. Considering the rain and wind, it wasn't a really hard job. Only about five guys even made it onto the green on their first shot so we didn't have to do too much running in between. I had fun and there were many cute boys there, but we were SOOOO cold! People were coming up in t-shirts and shorts and laughing at us for being so cold. I mean, it's not like we were doing anything substantial so we had every right to be cold! I wore a hooded sweatshirt and kept the hood up most of the time. Thank god, because when I did take the hood off and looked at my reflection in the car window, I was appalled. I looked like (you guessed it) a hot mess, minus the hot part. From the hood my hair was everywhere and it was just terrible. I tried to fix it, but had nothing to fix it with so I had to either walk around with my hood on or looking like I'd just gotten out of a wind tunnel. I chose wind tunnel and plotted my subtle exit. Everyone was begging me to stay and hang out, but I just wasn't feeling it. I was cold from the inside out and I really just wanted to take a shower and drink some hot cocoa. I got the shower, but no cocoa.. I was REALLY exhausted so after dinner with my parents, I vegged out on the couch watching all the shows I'd DVR'd this past week (more on that later).

Sunday (even though she knew I had planned to sleep in) my mother called to see if I wanted to go shopping. We needed to get some bridal shower presents and I wanted to look for a few things myself, so we headed down to Kingston. I got a shower present and I got myself a new pair of jeans and FINALLY, new black sunglasses. I've had the same pair of sunglasses for what seems like a decade. They're scratched and I lose them all the time but much like a bad penny, they keep turning up. I hadn't been able to find a pair I liked enough to buy but there was a decent pair at New York and Company and I had a coupon, so I went for it. Anyway, I got home and spent the rest of the evening watching everything Emmy's.

I think I have a girl crush on Katherine Heigl. First, when her name was mispronounced as a presenter, she corrected "the voice." Then, when she actually won the Emmy, the first thing out of her mouth was "shit." Yes, it got bleeped, but EVERYONE knew that's what she said. It was absolutely hysterical and you could tell how shocked and excited she was over it. Her speech began with her saying that her mother said she didn't have a shot in hell of winning and that's why she didn't prepare anything. It was funny and endearing and I'm really glad she won. I was pretty happy with most of the winners, to be honest, My man, Jeremy Piven won for Best Supporting Actor, and he is yet another example of a hot mess. I don't know what happened to him or who helped him get ready, but he looked like he rolled out of bed after a three day heroin binge. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating crackers, but he's capable of so much more. Jamie Pressly won for Best Supporting Actress for "My Name is Earl" and she looked FABULOUS just four months after having a baby... bitch. Not the prettiest dress I've ever seen, but she did look stunning in it. Am I the only one that thinks Kevin Bacon looks like either a corpse or like he's reprising his role in Hollow Man? And seriously, who does Ellen Pompeo let near her hair? I guess bad hair is a Grey's Anatomy kind of thing cause Kate Walsh was just incomprehensible. I'll be honest... no one looked completely atrocious.. I mean, I could even appreciate Vanessa Williams! However, Hayden Panettiere's dress was far from flattering (especially for an 18 year old with a body like hers) and while it pains me to say it, Jenna Fischer's wasn't that great either. Maybe she needed some extra fabric due to that broken back (and broken heart) she's been nursing. I thought Eva Longoria (who presented with the guys from Entourage) and America Ferrera looked gorgeous! I love that even though she's considered "bigger," America Ferrera doesn't shy away from color. Maybe because she's really not bigger... Hollywood just wants her to be. I was pretty happy with last night's results, but shocked that James Spader and Sally Field beat out the Sopranos for top drama acting nods. I thought it was going to be their night. And 30 Rock winning for best comedy.. Wow. Granted, I haven't had a chance to see the show, but I've heard only great things about it. I'm going to have to check it out! (NOTE: I painstakingly went through all the pictures of the red carpet and posted a picture by each person's name. However, when I checked the blog it seems every picture was the same one, so if you go to this site, you can scroll through for the ones I did not get to post a pic for. Believe me, the Kevin Bacon one is worth seeing with your own eyes. I apologize for the inconvenience).

As far as reality TV goes, CJ was booted from Top Chef! I'm so disappointed, but he totally deserved it. He served this nasty broccolini that couldn't have tasted any worse than it looked. There were others who probably deserved to go too, but I think his dish just took the cake, and not in the good way. Now we're down to Casey (who won the elimination challenge AND two round trip tickets on Continental to anywhere in the world - girlfriend really is stepping up her game), Hung, Sara, Dale and Brian. I hope I didn't forget anyone.. I'm really rooting for Dale, as my other two choices (CJ and Tre) suffered untimely eliminations at the hands of the Top Chef judges.

Last night was a waste of a Big Brother episode, simply rehashing what's happened over the season. I didn't get to see much of it as I was flipping back and forth between that and the Emmy's, but I did get to see the infamous "Dick pouring soda over Jen's head" incident. I must have missed that the first time around. The finale is Tuesday night and I'll be shocked if Daniele doesn't win.

Rescue Me went out kind of anticlimacticly. I don't know, it just felt like any regular episode as opposed to being the season finale. And once again, I was disappointed that Denis Leary didn't win the Emmy. Maybe next year. As for my other favorite FX show, Damages has been stellar as of late. Not that it wasn't before, but we're getting close to the season finale and things are really starting to come together. After they clear up this season, I'm really curious to see where that leads into the next one.

Today has been a busy day as my co-worker has a sick kid and called in. So what I'm saying is, I should really get back to work. I have to leave right on time so I can pick up the SYTYCD tickets (again, if anyone's interested in them, PLEASE leave me a comment or drop me an email). I'm then headed to my friend Sue's for a while tonight, then probably hitting Monday Night Football on my way home. I hope to NOT be out as late as I was last week, but I guess if it's a good time, such is life. Enjoy your Monday.

Absolutely amazing...

That's what Daughtry was. I'd heard from people that went to see him at SPAC that he sucked live. I don't know where they could have possibly gotten that from, because the show was great. The opening band (the sunstreak) were awful. Ok, that's a lie.. the BAND wasn't awful, but the lead singer was atrocious. Their bass player should have sang the entire time because he was TONS better than the real lead singer. The only reason people were clapping was because they knew if they got them off the stage, Daughtry would soon come on. Plus, they didn't come on until 8:30 and they were so not worth the wait.

Not only was Chris Daughtry easy on the eyes, but he sounds phenomenal. Some bands just don't sound good live, but that was not the case here. The whole concert was basically a sing along. If he stopped, the whole place had the lyrics down, regardless of whether the song had been released as a single. My only regret was not bringing my camera. Silly me for obeying the rules that said you couldn't bring them in. There isn't really a bad seat in the Palace Theater and I KNOW I could have gotten some great shots. They kicked off the show with "Crashed" and the intensity never let up. And let me just say, that boy sure knows how to use a bullhorn! The band itself was really great. Lots of energy and sounded fantastic! Chris Daughtry didn't take off his shirt but his bass player did, which was just as good. He reminded me of Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers but in a WAY more attractive way. I can't WAIT until he comes around again (although he's been to the area three times this year, so I don't anticipate him coming back until he has a new album to promote). Whatever, it's so worth the wait.

I didn't get home until 11:30 and probably didn't get to sleep until 12. It's been a very late night and early morning kind of week for me, so I'm looking forward to getting some sleep this weekend. Then again, I guess you can sleep when you're dead, right!? I'm working at a golf tournament tomorrow (in the freezing cold and rain, I'm sure) so I won't get to catch up quite yet, but maybe Saturday night into Sunday, unless something comes up! I was considering picking up my So You Think You Can Dance tickets this afternoon so (if anyone wants them) I can give out information on them. However, driving to Latham on a Friday afternoon and having to be back for bowling doesn't seem very feasible, so I guess it'll wait until Monday. Again, if anyone's interested, drop me a line (PLEASE). Enjoy your weekend regardless!!!

PS - I wasn't home to watch, but it's Dick and Daniele in the finals for Big Brother. Could it be more anticlimactic. I mean, I'd be SHOCKED if anyone in the jury house voted for Dick to win. Daniele might not have stuck to her word all the time, but at least she didn't berate people and insult them throughout the whole show. I'm sure they concocted some sort of deal to split the money in some way, which would be fair. I mean, it's doubtful that one would have gotten that far without the other in their corner. (that's just my opinion, Amy O... don't hate..)

Wow....

I totally didn't see this one coming...

Sometimes you just know

that the day isn't going to go your way. For example:

1. I was in the ER until a little after midnight last night, as my sister sprained her ankle in our soccer game (We looked more like a team and put up a good fight, but we still lost).
2. My friend that was supposed to take my spare tickets to So You Think You Can Dance bailed on me today, so now I'm scrambling to find someone who'd be interested (if you know of any takers, don't hesitate to let me know).
3. I got my first rejection email from a guy on Match.com. Ouch...

Yeah... it's gonna be a great day. Thank god for Chris Daughtry.

I really thought

we were over this kind of behavior. Apparently I have given the US more credit than it deserves.

In more entertaining news, Kathy Griffin earned an Emmy for her reality show "My Life on the D-List." She also earned the wrath of religious zealots the world over for her acceptance speech, which will not be shown in its entirety during Sunday's Creative Arts Emmys broadcast. Granted, I have a soft spot for her, but I'm surprised this is such a big deal. She's a comedienne, and her job is to make jokes. I don't know why people would expect anything less from her. Regardless, I love the show and send my congratulations to Kathy, who also made an appearance on Ellen yesterday that I managed to catch. It was pretty funny as Ellen was trying to make her say nice things about the tabloid bail she uses in her act. She tried, but it was to no avail.

I started doing some football picks through Yahoo.com this year, regardless of my lack of football knowledge. I'm happy to say that I was not the lowest point getter this week. I actually did quite well and got 9 of 16 points which is way better than I expected. If anyone wants to school me on spreads and that kind of thing, feel free to enlighten me. Personally, I think they're crap cause whoever wins, should win, but that's just silly me! Regardless, I'm still going to love Peyton Manning more than the sport of football, and hopefully people will continue to understand that. I'm a baseball girl, regardless of my team and their steroid dalliances (you know who you are, Jay Gibbons) and I intend to stay that way.

I'm not saying I'm giving up on the O's, but when your star second baseman is having an MRI for an earache, you know things can't get much worse.

Crap

That's what Weight Watchers is... CRAP.. I GAINED 1.2 pounds this week. I'm going to go under the assumption that i'm building muscle and that is why, because I worked out EVERY day this week. I mean.. (for those into WW) I had 26 activity points and I didn't even get through half my flex points. It's getting a tad frustrating at times. I guess I should have measured myself first instead of weighing myself, but it's a little too late for that now. I mean.. for someone like me who eats the way I do, I'm trying REALLY hard to lose this weight. It really shouldn't be this hard.

Last night, Tre and I went to Meadowgreens for Monday Night Football. We didnt' get there till after 10:30 and didn't get home until 1 am! I'm definitely not going to make it through Damages tonight and if it weren't for Big Brother, I probably wouldn't even still be awake. However, how can I miss all the drama on BB!? I mean, they're crowning a winner in just one week?! Anyway, there really wasn't anyone there since we got there so late, but we got to see a few people we hadn't seen in quite some time so that was fun. I won't be able to do it every week, but every once in a while should be a good time.

I was supposed to go to Massachusetts this weekend to visit my college roommates (they live together) and I was pretty excited about it, however, one of the girls isn't going to be there so I decided not to go. Instead, my cousin asked if I wanted to work at a golf tournament on Saturday so it looks like I'll do that instead. The weather isn't supposed to be too bad and with the group that will be there I think it'll be a good time. It'll be nice because I certainly won't spend as much money as I had anticipated spending this weekend. Good times..

Nothing has been going on this week so the blog has been pretty boring and I apologize for that. Tomorrow night we have soccer again. I'm looking forward to it, but we're playing a team called Royal United. If you go by the name alone, we're gonna get one hell of an ass whooping! Hopefully a few new randoms will show up so we can have a bit of a break . It'll still be fun, even if we do get killed.

So what i'm saying is, it might be a few days before you get a blog because I also have the Daughtry concert on Thursday night and YES, I'm downright giddy about it. I think I'll wear two bras so that when I throw mine on the stage, I'll still have one to wear. Chris Daughtry does not need to see the twins flopping around, am I right? But (you're welcome ladies) this is a prime opportunity to post a Chris Daughtry picture...

Last I knew

She liked chicks, not dicks. Apparently, reality TV sure can change a girl... and not in a good way.

Oh Britney

Wow... I don't even know what to say besides, "comeback my ass." To quote myself while watching the show "oh honey no." It was bad. The dance moves were reminiscent of something you'd see in a Weezer video (and that is NOT a good thing when you're capable of the choreography Brit-Brit should be capable of) and the belly!? WTF? I mean.. wear a corset when you've got a little flab, but not a bikini on national television! She should have hired Criss Angel to make that (and her whole performance) disappear. Bad things... I give it six weeks before she's in the ER next to Owen Wilson trading suicide stories.

Wow

John Norris from MTV does NOT even look human anymore. The picture on the MTV web site is so 10 years ago. He looks like he's had shit loads of work done and someone should tell him that male news correspondents (no matter their age, network or sexual orientation) should never wear eyeliner. He looks like a My Chemical Romance reject, and not in a good way.

Boring.....

I started bowling Friday night. It was a debacle of epic proportions. I bowled pretty crappy, but considering I haven't picked up a ball since April, I should cut myself a little slack. Between fending off Jason's advances and heading to Wal-Mart, it was one hell of a night. I came home, watched Rescue Me and hit the hay. Sadly, my forearm is still sore. Guess I have to get used to bowling again.

I did absolutely nothing on Saturday and it felt pretty good. I tried to get my friends to go to the drive-in, but it rained and no one wanted to watch a movie between the windshield wipers. We went to see Halloween instead. So NOT my first choice. Halloween scares the absolute shit out of me and the only reason I went was because I had showered and hated wasting it. Plus, there was popcorn involved. To be honest, it wasn't a terrible movie. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't great, but I don't think any horror movies are. We stopped at Melino's for a drink after the movie but it was dead (shocker).

I didn't do much of anything today either. It was pretty much the exact kind of weekend I needed to get back to my normal self again (I think). I hit the gym, then made fat free rice krispie treats. NOT the easiest thing to make. Very sticky, that's for sure. I doubt I'll do that too many times. They came out fine though... who doesn't love a fat free treat?

In sad news, there was a murder-suicide in Schodack on Saturday and I found out it was J.'s best friend's cousin that did the murdering. I felt really bad because I sent J. a text just for fun (something only he would find funny) and the response I got back wasn't so great. So, I asked if he was ok and he then called to tell me what was going on. Yet another one of those situations where I didn't know what to say and it didn't matter because nothing I could say would be the right thing. I think he understood, but still. I'm kind of glad he was the one that told me about it because if I had seen it on the news first I would have definitely called and asked him 100 questions about it. Apparently I've even met the guy, because he played ball with us one weekend. Freaky...

In reality show news, Eric and Jessica were booted from the Big Brother house in a double elimination night on Thursday. I knew not trying to get rid of Dick or Daniele was going to be their downfall, and I think so did they. It's pretty evident that either Dick or Daniele will win and to be honest, I hope it's Daniele. She played the game pretty well and I feel like Dick is just riding on her coattails. Plus, there's no way in hell the jury will allow Dick to win. That's what you get when you're a douchebag to just about every person in the house. Only just over a week to go until the winner is crowned.

Tonight is the MTV Video Music Awards and while I normally wouldn't watch it, I have to see what kind of trainwreck Britney's performance is. Honestly, I'm sure it'll be a great performance: well choreographed and well lip synched and all. I just think she'll need so much more to stage a comeback than this.

Out of my league

We started our soccer league last night. Everyone was insanely excited for some reason. My sister couldn't wipe the permagrin off her face.. it was pretty funny. The minute we get in to Afrim's, everyone hits the store and buys turf shoes. I had no intention of doing so, but they were only $30, and I'm glad I did. NO ONE wore regular sneakers! I didn't realize it was actual turf and not just hardwood floors so these shoes will come in handy, even if it's only for the eight weeks we originally signed up for. Apparently they do new leagues every eight weeks so if you really want to, you can play year round. Anyway, we size up the team we're playing against and they're pretty young. No matter, we set up anyway. 12 seconds into the game, my friend Allyson scores. We were all excited and probably looked like idiots. Now we're thinking that we've got the game in the bag. Oh, what a mistake that was. We got our asses handed to us! Every single person on our team got schooled by one of these girls! They've obviously been playing more than us and their footwork was FAR superior.

I should put it into perspective though. No one on our team has played soccer in at least 7 years, and for most of us it's been over 10. Therefore, we did pretty good all things considered. No one collapsed and everyone had fun. I think we were all surprised at how aggressive and "handsy" the other team was. It's a moms league so I expected the people to be older and less inclined to push and grab. Apparently, I thought wrong. Our team name is the Old Hags. We found it appropriate after the first game. Everyone is really looking forward to our game next week and we hope to score more than one goal. Well, two.. we scored on our own goal during a corner kick :) It was still lots of fun. At the end we were just cracking on each other and trying like hell to score another goal! We all went out for a drink afterwards and though tired, everyone expressed how much fun it was and how good it felt to be playing again. We might play again in the next session, but we'll probaby get into the correct league. (One of the women that put our team in accidentally put us into the intermediate division, hence, the ass whoopings it's more than likely we'll receive). But, we get a free t-shirt and a night out. It works for me. I earn 6 activity points for playing 40 minutes of soccer. Can't complain about that. I wasn't supposed to play last night since I'd been sick, but we really didn't have any subs so with me playing, I was able to let people come out more often, even though I was more than likely the one who really needed to be out! It really helped to clear my throat out though. I feel a ton better now that stuff is moving in there!

In Office news, Jenna Fischer and her husband have announced their separation. I'm really surprised and saddened by this. They have always come across as a very mutually appreciative and solid couple. I really hope her success on the show hasn't been a cause, but then again, how can it not be? Damn Hollywood. Maybe she and John Krasinski could hook up and we'd have our real life Pam and Jim!!! Or... maybe John Krasinski could hook up with me.. Yeah.. that'd be WAY better!

Speaking of me hooking up, I'm actually considering going back on Match.com at some point (unless anyone knows of someone to hook me up with... ya know, alleviate the pressure ;). I haven't done it in a couple of years and I really have no idea why I'm considering it but I'm not meeting people sitting home watching movies, believe it or not, so I might consider it. AFTER I lose some more weight.. :) Gotta get the skinny pictures online, of course! Speaking of losing weight, at my weigh in this week I was down 4.2 pounds, bringing my total to 8.6 pounds. I wish it were more (and I expected more) but unfortunately it comes off harder than it goes on. Who'dve thunk?

An illustrious anniversary

12 years ago today I can remember what I was doing: I had just started my second year at Columbia Greene (and was playing soccer - yikes) and was working the snack bar at the bowling alley for the Wednesday night leagues. Well, I ended up shutting down the snack bar and bawling my brains out for a solid half hour or more.. Why kids? Cause today is the day that Cal broke Lou Gehrig's consecutive games played record. He later took the streak from 2131 to 2632, but really, tonight is the night that will forever live in infamy and makes me cry everytime it's even mentioned. Granted, I'm a sap, but to any Oriole fan, it's a banner day. It's also the longest I've ever heard Chris Berman not say anything, and what fan of ESPN doesn't love that? ;)

Movies

As you can imagine, I had a lot of free time on my hands this weekend so I managed to watch a few movies. I'll give you a rundown:

Hitch - It was cute.. not the best romantic comedy I've ever seen but it did keep me awake for two and a half hours... and then I took some Nyquil.

Zodiac - TOO LONG, but still a good movie. I just wanted it to be done about an hour before it was. I really miss the 80's when movies were rarely over an hour and a half. Anything over two hours (except The Departed) really irritates me. I may have even gotten over some of my Chloe Sevigny disdain.. some.. not all. I could definitely relate to how Jake Gyllenhaal allowed himself to get so caught up in the Zodiac killings and who the killer was. I wasn't alive when the murders occurred so I wasn't really up on my knowledge of it, so I did like how in depth the film was but still... too long. Thank God I never tried to see it a the drive in. It would NOT have been pretty.

V for Vendetta - I REALLY liked this one. I'm a fan of Natalie Portman and I found this movie to be political, yet easy to understand. The violence was gory at times but totally central to the plot. And as much as I love Natalie Portman, I really hate her for being able to pull off the shaved head. I have a big head and could never get away with it, hence the jealousy.

Less Than Zero - Yes, the drug fueled flick from the 80's starring Andrew McCarthy, Jami Gertz and Robert Downey, Jr. I had never seen the whole thing and I finally managed to see it this afternoon. I really liked it (did I mention it was an hour and 38 minutes long?). I'm curious to see if that's really what Robert Downey Jr. looked like during his really bad days. Oh yeah, it also starred the King of 80's sleezeballs, James Spader. Again... I love the 80's.

The Lake House - I don't really know what to say about it. I just couldn't get over the fact that it was something that could never happen, although (SPOILERS KIDS) I am happy they got together in the end. Her man was kind of a douche and not well suited for her character. I guess I have seen worse movies. I'm glad I waited for it to come on HBO though, that's for sure.

I'm kinda back

I apologize for the lack of posting. As I mentioned, I was pretty sick. I finally made it to the doctor today (damn holiday) and he said I had pharyngitis and an inflammation of my lingual tonsils. He did give me a prescription for amoxicillin (thank god) although I don't think he really wanted to as I obviously wasn't as bad today as I was over the weekend. And oh yeah.. I have to go in for blood work where he's testing me for lyme disease, thyroid and other such things since I've been so damn exhausted for the last two weeks. I've only had to give blood once and I'm scared shitless to do it again. Yep... I'm a pussy. Anyway, my fever finally broke on Monday morning, after a disastrous attempt to go to the Fair on Sunday night.. I kind of knew I shouldn't have gone but my fever went down for a while and I REALLY wanted a corn dog.. and gravy fries.. and a 4-H milkshake (i didn't get one of those though). I ended up in the beer tent and lasted about an hour before I just couldn't do it anymore. I felt completely awful and when I got home I had a temperature over 100 degrees. I took some Nyquil and passed out shortly after. I didn't even get to ride the mechanical bull which made it's illustrious return to the Chatham Fair this year. I handled the bull quite well a few years ago and could not WAIT to do it this year once I heard it was back. However, my neck was so swollen that i really couldn't move it so I didn't think riding a mechanical bull was going to help the situation. It was pretty disappointing. I love the fair! It's one of my favorite weekends of the year. I love the food, the beer tent and seeing the random people (and oh yeah, the mechanical bull). So, for me not to be there, I HAD to feel like shit!

Obviously, because I didn't leave my house, I don't have much to tell you. When I got home on Thursday I found myself in the midst of a Britain's Next Top Model marathon. I'm sorry, but I was really shocked at how not pretty those girls were. I guess the ideas of beauty are different across the pond and if that's the case, when can I move there?! And many thanks to MTV for having three America's Next Top Model marathons on this weekend to keep me busy. For real, I flipped between an ANTM marathon and a How Do I Look marathon ALL DAY on Saturday. I wish I was kidding, but I'm not. This morning I got hooked on a marathon on "The Fashionista Diaries" on SoapNet. Don't ask me how... the premise is there are six people who are assistants in NYC and they've vying for full time positions. Two of the girls work at Flirt Cosmetics, two more work for some PR house with the bitchiest woman I've ever seen, and another girl and guy work for the now defunct Jane Magazine. Well, the final episode in the marathon was when the two who work for Jane find out their magazine is folding through a text message from one of the other assistants. OUCH! I'm totally enthralled with it and can't wait for Wednesday night at 9 to see what happens. Shit.. soccer starts tomorrow night so I might have to DVR it.. I can't risk missing it!!!!

Speaking of soccer, yes, we start tomorrow night and I'm looking forward to it. I don't know if I'll be able to play because... well, there's no room in my mouth to breathe and do anything else at the same time so I don't know how it'll work. My mom and sister got me shin guards the other day and I'm happy to have found a new reason to wear my yellow tie dyed rugby socks, cause I sure as hell don't see myself wearing them to play rugby again anytime soon!

Zach won HOH on Big Brother and nominated Jessica and Jameka. I think he's trying to use this opportunity to backdoor Eric, but we'll have to wait another hour or so to see what happens with that. My sister is soooooo pissed I got her into the show. I told her it was like crack but she wouldn't believe me...

I'm pretty sure I'll be crazy busy at work tomorrow so I doubt I'll get the chance to post, but I'll try to do it again as soon as I can. Ya know... get back into your good graces ;). Take advantage of the hump day!!!
